that wide seated row is in my gym . it’s heavy as hell. 2 plates a side feels like 5 plates a side on the regular hammer strength seated row

Question : with the single arm db rows Chris rows more towards his chest rather than his hips. I've always thought this activates the biceps more and takes away some stress from the lats. Just trying to learn here, is there any benefit from doing these with this execution? Lmk chat 💪
