that was a monster. You know, i was planning of fishing Friday too, and then this contractor that i've been waiting for a month moves the appointment and decides to come on Friday. I can't wait for him another month and will have to pass on fishing. I know how it feels

An informative and fun video. Your excitement and enthusiasiam while fighting that (what we call in Florida) hybrid made me smile. Once again, I would request that you talk in a video about your angling technique when fishing Trout Magnets. It looks like, in this video, you use a steady, moderate retrieve with continuous small twitches. I wonder though, how you vary that dependig on target species, water temperature , etc, etc. All the info I have been able to find on the web related to actually fishing TMs involves using a float and I would like to do it more the way you do since I love to cast and retrieve.

Great battle on that rod, the line really impresses me as those rascals have sharp gill plates. Good knots, a smooth drag and some good old fashioned luck always helps as well. Bluegill and Shellcrackers are just around the corner now!

What a great day of fishing! I just purchased an Abu Garcia Carabus Extreme, which is the same rod from Europe. However, it is the 6'6" light model. Haven't got the chance to fish it yet, but it sure feels amazing in hand. Thanks again for the videos. Always good stuff here.
