I'm the guy who got tangled in the sonar and I want to compliment Steve, Mat, Josh, Kegan and Alex for the awesome job they did getting us on the fish and helping us get them in. Best crew and boat ever!!!!

@FishTheLegend it weighed in at 172lb at the dock with gill and guts removed. Estimate of fish is 200lb

Just curious… with that many big fish being tight at one time, approx how long was it taking to get each fish over the rail?

@@Deepimpactocean there’s really no average, just depends on the angler, gear, and the way the hook is set. A good range is probably 10-45 minutes, with exceptions.

5 foot jigging rods would help control the fish. Great crew work

@@SalBlydenburgh I’d bring a wide range just depends on what you’re going for. Could be 25#, 40#, 60-80# for sinker rig set up, 80-100+# for night time fishing.

Straight PROFESSIONAL crew on the Legend... Talking about assist hooks, what size assist hooks do you recommend?

@@ericr1382 They vary by brand. Hard to go too big but usually 5/0 and up. Bigger the better usually. Nothing wrong with a good single hook like a jobu or a 7691 either!
