Thank you for this drone video of Big Boy 4014 making its way up Peru Hill in Wyoming. 40014 and its train looked great working its way across the plains and through that cut. The diesel trains were bonus footage. (Posted 14 September 2024 at 1747 CDT.)

The sights and sounds are indeed fabulous here. It's obvious the Big Boy is working hard at the start, because she's smoking heavily there. But at least the crowd could enjoy a little smoke show too. I like the cutting at the end, the double main looks great between the rock walls. The extra UP freights are nifty, I like them also. Very nice footage again Dan.

Thanks a lot Z! I was here with some others and we were pretty excited because so much of the time during this day and the day before it was obvious that 1983 was doing a lot of the work (Pretty much that whole last River Runner video through Idaho and Wyoming) most of the time so it was great to finally get a shot with 4014 actually chugging and putting on a good show.

They have swivelling joints for the steam and exhaust pipes, one at each end of each pipe.
