I remember playing a deck that looked a lot like yours back in one of the GBA games from around this era. I think it worked well enough, but Nova might just be a bit better at this than the AIs in the game were. I think the first game should have been yours though. If you don't mind me offering some unsolicited advice here, I think you should reconsider what you want to say during the "looking at the format we just spun" section. And I i realize it's hard because you're basically forced to improvise it, and the site usually doesn't give you much to go off of. But I feel like most of the time, going over the changes to the banlist doesn't really tell us a whole lot. When there are infamous cards getting banned, like CED, Dragon Rulers, or Firewall Dragon, then sure, those are probably significant enough markers for people to remember what you're talking about. But most of the time, I think you're probably better off mentioning things like which decks were popular (especially when the site gives you that information) and what the most recent set release was. I see that the site even has descriptions for some of the formats that you could steal from. It might also be worth considering that you dont have to include your live reactions in the video. If impromptu research, improv, and carrying on a conversation with a guest while keeping it all entertaining is too difficult (which I am sure it would be for most people), there's no shame in just not doing that. You can always just edit in a more scripted description you record later. Or follow MBT's lead from History of Yugioh/Jank and talk about it in the deck description. That's all very good advice, but I feel like it's also important to see the initial reaction to the format we're getting, as it gives me a chance to see how I interact with any of the various cohosts outside of the duel. Maybe I won't go through the banlist as thoroughly, but I will still go over the top decks of the time when they're offered. The impromptu "research" of the format with the co-host might be a little bit different, but I feel like it's important that I get that time to interact with the co-host outside of the duel. Maybe in the formats that I spin where the format isn't a tier zero format named after the best deck (like Gouki format) or it's a format without any top decks or recent events listed, I could pull up the website that archives top decks throughout history and briefly scroll through that so that my cohosts and I can give a little more insightful commentary on the format. It's good to hear from ya, and I'll always appreciate your insight and constructive criticism. Thanks a bunch, J.
