Your snakes are so adorable! I am glad that you give them proper care (while I am personally not a fan of live feeding, I understand that you really don't have a choice since your snakes (and a few others) won't accept dead).

Hey buddy , I got this adult tiger retic roughly 16ft aggressive as hell I really can't put up with him anymore , I was wondering if you would want him for free , I know you would be able to deal with him and maybe tame him down or if you know anybody I live in Springfield Illinois
@MyCheesewheel2 жыл бұрын
The trick is to get them out weekly. Hook train and handle them for at least an hour weekly. I have taken in multiple retics for this reason. Does he have proper cage size and temperature gradients? Also be sure there are no smells of food near. I’d take him off your hands but I live in Nashville, TN and couldn’t make that drive with work. He’d pair well with my female Tiger. Keep putting in the work and he will calm down. Make sure you want to be rid of him before finalizing that decision. You don’t want to have sellers remorse. Good luck!
@scottgoveiareptiles2 жыл бұрын
@@MyCheesewheel yeah he in a 6ft x 28 vision cage , temps are perfect and humidity, I own several retics 31 total and he's the only one I can't calm down when he snatches his food up he be pushing his body against the glass doors damn near shattering it every time

Damn man, feeding live rabbits was way too cruel. In wild atleast they can try to save their life. You could have atleast killed them. And many of them were bleeding so badly.
@drthik12 жыл бұрын
I could have pre killed them but it's not pretty, alot of times the snakes are more efficient than I am. Rabbits were in that condition do to someone's dog that was allowed to run unleashed that terrorized my rabbits. The dog got taken care of.
@nipun76092 жыл бұрын
@@drthik1 Thanks for the reply❤️ Well I got your point but from psychological point of view, it must be so scary. Like, we now know that even animals get depression. Getting killed without actually knowing it in advance is better imo. For instance, 2 of the snakes didn't actually kill the rabbits. It scares me to imagine how scary that time must have been.
@drthik12 жыл бұрын
@@nipun7609 understandable, those 2 rabbits did go to other snakes. Feeding videos such as those are presented in such a way that there's an educational aspect to them and they aren't just created for shock factor.

Ava Barrett: You're the type that cannot understand why comments are disabled on a video. You proceed to harass people in their other videos. It's okay to feed mice, rabbits, rats to snakes, that is what they eat and many snakes don't eat dead prey. Run along now, kiddo.
@Guest666RBLX_YT2 жыл бұрын
Stop feeding your pythons live rabbits for views If you wanna do it then don't record it for views Or just feed them dead ones
@drthik12 жыл бұрын
If I did it for views then why has it been years since I've posted a live feeding video?
@user-fg9mp5mt5x Жыл бұрын
Guest 666: Bugger off kiddo, and stop stalking people's channels. You're the type that tries to cancel people, aren't you? You actually took the time to browse drthik1's channel to post your inane rambling about feeding dead prey to snakes that likely don't go for dead prey. Your "I cannot comment on a video, so I go to another video and comment anyway, even if my comment has nothing to do with that other video (or with common sense)" logic is just brilliant.
