The platinum sucks. What they need to do is make the base multiplier 2x and keep the annual fee. People are jumping ship for the Venture X and increasing the annual fee and adding more coupons is going to be bad for business.

I agree they want spend, that would be more than enough to justify ppl keeping card rather than turning and burning. Sure there would be much better options but that should be enough

One of the ironic things to me about the Platinum card is that it's supposed to be this card you want to show off, but due to the paltry 1x multiplier, it's trash for regular spending. Really no reason to even keep it in your wallet.

I’m tired of credit card experts not understanding that there is still a waiting list for the 3% Robinhood card. I sign up day 1 as a Gold member with 100K ira account and a 830 credit score and still on the waiting list. So annoying 😂

Yea I talked about this in my vid on the Robinhood card, a lot of people are still on the waitlist (me included) but there is still a lot of people who have been approved

I’m canceling my Amex Platinum in March I will still hold 10 Amex cards as I’m team Amex but don’t need lounge access currently and don’t plan to fly this year so the Amex Gold, Green, Business Gold, Blue Business Plus are the powerhouses in my wallet!

I just got the Amex Green and it fits everything I need as I live in a large metro area. I really hope they don't increase the annual fee anytime soon

My prediction for 2025 is the rise of the NAF cards. I won’t be adding any cards to my wallet in 2025. As a matter of fact, I plan to start downgrading and canceling cards in 2025. I hope to get to 100% NAF by 2026 if possible. Hopefully Chase does get the Apple Card and makes it a Visa. That would vastly simplify my setup.

My prediction for capital one in 2025 that capital one keeps down grading there cards ... they took lounge passes away from the venture and took the uber 10 % away from the savor card ... There going back to subprime ...... The apple card will be chases 2% card

A coupon for a gym membership that is only valid on the east and west coast, 10 dollars off a dining meal (which basically covers the taxes) and not forget a “entertainment credit” that’s a joke
