@@SUPERNICHOLAS88 Gamewise, Dwarfs only now have true undercities. Lorewise, Skaven have their own undercities but regularly break into Dwarf underways and use them for their own purposes. Now that Dwarfs in the game have their own undercities, they can fight the Skaven at their own game and retake their underways from the rat invaders.

@@x420ninjabearx8 as did I Zhao Ming starts with 2 and the technology gives a maximum of 3 Miao Ying and Yuan Bo start with 1 and the technology gives a maximum of 2 so it's still a bit of a step down from convoys (where Astragoth and Drazhoath have a maximum of 3 and Zhatan has a maximum of 4) but it's still definitely a step up from Cathay's old system I just hope that some of their random enemy encounters are against things other than Ogres...

Its pretty fun so far. Its nice to be able to get such absolutely massive garrisons. You can get to a point where just your garrison can beat very tough armies. Nice for late game ive found. Its great for keeping your province capitals safe while your good armies take the fight wherever you need them.

It's amazing. I built the guild foundry which gives you 5% bonus income per turn in karaz a karak on turn 96. Went from ~2000 income to 7600 lmao Also just building the "seal the hold" slot in an isolated hold and watch the AI besiege it for years (it makes it so that you don't get any attrition from being besieged)

Fun fact: Your region counts as adjacent to other dorfs if you are both next to the tunnel passages that the big karaks have. Took me a while to realize, but makes the trading and drinking buildings better.

unpopular opinion but having gaps in unit rosters isn't a problem for me. I don't want every roster having a dedicated counter for every matchup. We should be encouraged to use the factions strengths to overcome its weaknesses, not get rid of any weakness. I know units like to orc boys with spears aren't top tier but I never had an issue with cav giving the greenskins a harder time.

Personally I both agree and disagree with your opinion to be honest. When a faction has a large, obvious weakness it's going to require solutions to the problems it causes. Solutions it might not always get, because they don't always exist unless they're baked in manually. To give an example, Vampire Counts have the known problem of (mostly) not having any ranged units. It works fine in the tabletop game due to how the rules and maps work and it works fine enough in TWWH in field battles, but it gets somewhat awkward in defensive sieges. Vampire Counts frankly get weaker when defending a siege and you might not always be able to avoid these sieges on the campaign. There's no easy solution to that - the one we currently have in the game is a couple of ranged units you do get access to in the campaign, but there's not a lot of them and you still have a problem with a lot of your magic being unusable on the walls. The point I'm making is that this distinct weakness that VC get causes them to interact poorly with an entire core feature of the game and the general idea behind these features is that they're balanced with each other as being always available and always working the same way. The rest of the game operates under the assumption that the defender of a siege gets an advantage. On the other hard though I definitely agree that it's important to keep the factions distinct so that there are actual gameplay considerations behind them and you're not literally just choosing the color of your troops' armor.

You know… that wouldn’t be a terrible idea. Maybe tie it solely to settlements with a pyramid landmark? Like you construct Settra’s pyramid and you can access the tombs where more Tomb Guard and constructs are buried. Plus it remedy the fact that Nehekara proper is really small in Immortal Empires and Major Tomb King Cities like Numas got demoted down to minor settlements in Warhammer 3.

Basically you'd be constructing the pyramids from scratch, one chamber at a time, eventually putting the capstone at the top and unlocking a big effect. Might be a more. Maybe the grudges should just take on the Malakai system of creating spawn locations that you can send an army to, to fight a battle not tied to any particular factions who's territory you need to conquer. Reduces the need for territorial warfare, tunneling out to start that fight (and I swear it's been years since I fought a mercenary assist battle as empire, seemed like a fun system if it could be expanded on in some way)

A really interesting start to fix what the ruinous CEO's (Chaos Empire Officers) caused ;) Would be wonderful if they start working on the terrain and siege walls blocking all outgoing bullets and arrows. Honestly makes walls less than useful. Also maybe give a wall defending unit some defensive buffs as to make walls more of an important obstacle rather than something that always falls within the first seconds of a battle (most historical castles were never breached, the defenders were starved out or betrayed more often than walls would be lost. You'd need an attacking army about 3 times as large than the defending army to even stand a chance to take a castle through brute force).

My first run in the new patch was horrendus. Started as ironhammer, and before long, about turn 20, all the good guys were wiped out. No humans, bretonia, dwarfs or otherwise. Ogres, skarven, saltspire, beastmen and orcs had taken everything. Never seen that before!

I think Chorfs basically live in the wasteland and they build towers rather than burrowing deeper into the mountains, dont they? I think as an alternative to them it would be better to add a railroad as a quick way to travel between towers

@@ClamInRamen Chorfs also dig deep, but they do so much more aggressively than the normal Dwarfs. I wouldn't be surprised if the Chorfs got a deeps mechanic down the line, but it would be much more precarious than what the Dawi have. It would come with random events spawning demons, chance of buildings collapsing or damaging the settlement and the like, while I get the sense that the Dawi would take more care into doing everything "properly", according to the decrees of the ancestor gods (Zhuffbar notwithstanding (choffing engineers and their wild machinations and radical approaches)).

The cult magus is a hero, whose only purpose in life is to create a cult. A one use hero, who immediately dies after establishing the cult. He puts a unique building underneath it, which steals about 10% of the income from the settlement and gives it to you. When he asks "What is my purpose?" You tell him to go and infect Zharr Naggrund and from there every other major settlement of factions you either never encounter yourself or who you team up with to steal some stuff from them. Further more it spreads your corruption, is the only building that lowers the discovery rate (by 20) and aside from the passive income and the upcoming rebellions, it's borderline useless, as the unique building replaces the magus building. If you want to rely on many cults, I suggest to infect your direct neighbors with your first cultists. Putting a cult underneath a city is on a timer - but per character. So in the early game you get a cultist, let him do his job and immediately replace him for a new guy to do it elsewhere to spread far and wide and get those juicy 10% taxes from Zharr Naggrund, as well as other juicy locations you won't conquer for yourself early on. It's broken, it will get your corruption everywhere and it will be changed in the future for a global cooldown, so use it while you can, because I see how it's going to break the game and how CA will probably have to change it sooner rather than later.

I'm a really big fan of adding these small, easy to add units that require basically no modeling work and add something to rosters that was otherwise missing. Now they should also really add Marauders of Khorne (spears) and Chosen of Khorne (Halberds) simply because we do have Chaos Warriors of Khorne (Halberds) and it's kinda weird that we don't have the other two. And hear me out... Greatswords (Halberds). I'm not joking. Obviously give them a different name, but it's kinda weird that the empire does have armored infantry but that they're for some reason committed to only using greatswords.

Glad they've changed the age of reckoning mechanic, it just didn't make sense, as you said the dawii are a defensive faction so having to constantly push them out all the time made no sense. If they wanted to keep age of reckoning it should be a choice to activate with bigger reward or bigger punishment if you don't make it

would it be a good adittion to get the option to choose between a few maps when atacked in encamp stance. because if you are waiting for your enemy you can choose the battlefield.

IMHO, swords should have no bonus while spears should have anti-infantry. They're goblins, a normal unit is large to them.
