Oh my! After such a long time, it's like my best friend walking in the room after 15 years, tears and smiles, it's beautiful, I can't say more. Thank you from the very bottom of my heart, I really needed this....

Big Country is sadly such an under rated band. But fortunately we the fans are here to support BC and know how to share and spread their talent all over the places... A thousand Thanks Andy for your huge contribution to keep the band alive in our hearts and souls.

These demo's are unpolished diamonds. Pure, raw, astounding beautiful music emerging straight from the soul. It's the ultimate BC sound before being polished by producers and 'translated' by lyrics. Listening to them feels like a very intimate experience bringing about numerous emotions. All of them extremely gifted musicians, the four of them together producing such mesmerising songs there is no rival to that. 😍 I love you Andy for 'offering' these demo's to the world - to us. Their music adds so much value to my life. Thank you. 💙

"I am a Small Republic" is just magic. It's a shame they didn't get more soundtrack gigs. The music without the lyrics is beautiful, as the lyrics are beautiful without the music.

Wow such a beautiful arrangements. LUV this demo also.There is no end to BC talent a their creativity to make music .You see comments over and over again about how under rated they were, well that is stating it mildly.These guys had just so much talent they should of been Superstars! Pink Marshmallow moon is so pretty ,this whole album is amazing! Stay extreme!!!

Ripping Stuart lead playing on the last track - he sounds like he was really enjoying himself on this. I actually prefer the rawness and energy of some of these demos to the final studio versions.
@Mudge076 жыл бұрын
skidco1 I agree in that I find the mood of the these almost down-tempo’d numbers, more relaxing. You mentally you can fill in the gaps with the final fills and lyrics so it’s almost like taking a role on the foundational tracks.

Yep, great listen and I am also wondering where these have been all these years. Anyone can make their own copies of these via downloading Audacity software to their computer/lap top. Audacity was free last time I used it about three years ago, simple enough to use and will enable you to burn an exact copy of this superb KZbin upload to CD. Give it a go!!

I listen to his music and it's good but it brings me down to think how much of my own will never be heard because, like Stu, I've got terminal depression too and it's so bad I haven't gigged in over a decade..... it's unfortunately taking longer to die from the disease than it did for him.
@BC1000Stars6 жыл бұрын
ROOKTABULA that's really sad to hear. I can’t offer you any particular words of encouragement other than to try and draw strength from Big Country's music and words. That's the reason they’re out there. Pull up your head off the floor, come up screaming. In times of darkness, many, many fans from around the world have done just this. I really hope your situation improves and you can find happiness and joy from what Stuart left us. 😊
