I'm sure my wording was dramatic but imagine that for example if he were verbally abusing her, or cheating constantly etc, and to him the problem is her getting support instead of the obvious issue that could be verbal abuse or cheating. It's freaky to see how manipulate narcissistic people in action and so blatantly and pompously. That, and the fact it's not rare, to me is whats scary. I hope that example helps add some clarity to why I chose such admittedly dramatic wording

Nah…his abusing women gets in the way of relationships. Btw, it’s completely normal for a person to take multiple attempts to leave their abuser. You’re normally spot on but not with this aspect. I’m a DV survivor and watching the show plus hearing his voicemail is 100% abuse and 100% sounded calculated. I’m not saying Liz is a good or bad person. I’m specifically addressing Liz going back to him during the love bomb stage of his abuse. It’s common for DV abusers to put on the charm after abusing someone and wanting them back or wanting to still have control over them. I don’t give Ed any credit. None. I haven’t seen him say anything that reflects he has atoned for his actions. I don’t believe he has ever publicly said “I abused Liz but now I’m in therapy working on my abusive behavior.” It’s always “We we on and off.” “I dumped her eight times.” “I was jealous.” Gee Ed how about “I was a vindictive domestic abuser who emotionally battered my gf.”
