I think what's most noticeable about this is that usually they hiss and growl when the camera is around them. He doesn't make a sound though. Not a growl, not a rumble. Because his human is trying to sleep.

It's not domesticated. It's fed and safe, so it tolerates the situation. There's a big difference and it's why owning animals like these is incredibly dangerous and often leads to injury and the animal being put down.

You would never sleep feeling safer than w/Floppa on duty. When I was 16 I house sat for my neighbors who had a massive German Shepard & a Collie. They both slept on the bed w/me & I never knew a more peaceful sleep than that week.❤

First video I've seen where he isn't growling and hissing. That's his way, I guess. But this video confirms what I always suspected: he's really a sweetheart and genuinely loves his owners. I'd sure feel safe with him guarding me. In fact, I'd take him over a watchdog.
