« Landing site » ? Bro, the pressure at the surface of Venus is 100x higher than on Earth ! You cannot send Kerbals on this hell ! Or you will need a bigger suit if you dont want to see them crushed ! But anyway, what you doing is amazing and I will keep follow you for the future.

I’m not sure exactly what the spinning is, but I think it has to do with the Gemini RCS, I haven’t encountered this problem with Mercury. I’m far off from Apollo hardware, I will see if I encounter the spinning. Certainly puzzles me! Not just the R&D :)

2:21 I don’t recall the RS-25 nonetheless a variant known as a RS-25U having existed in the 60s, but there was a high pressure derivative of the J-2 called the HG-3.
@TDChannelKSP2 жыл бұрын
This timeline is much faster than IRL - first lunar landing in '57 and Mars in '61. RS-25U is a hypothetical upper stage variant of the RS-25 with restart ability - in this timeline it was developed as a high performance upper instead of for the shuttle.

@TDChannelKSP2 жыл бұрын
There's a built-in decoupler to the DECQ S-IC, when I fire its retro motors it decouples as well. Pretty sure I tried to disable staging at one point but it still did, whoops. The top is the extra "Stretch tank" since the F1As burn longer.
