Big Guy Side Mount Control

There are various ways to control someone from the side mount, however the problem occurs when the person you are trying to control is really big and strong. This side mount control works extremely well against those big guys. I left out the submissions parts, as well an inverted mount control from this position. I will post those in another video. Good video I want a game plan for small guys, will test this out, my other thought was just use one knee in his hip, but ill try your method first..

For a big guy I think its better, his hips still block his knee I think, I'm only white belt though, he has weight in his head, and you have leverage from using your own legs. I got thrown from a big guy whilst I was in mount think it was because I leaned forward not sure...

The Gracie academy do a variation just like that.Bear in mind it's for untrained opponents. You are brain dead.
