As soon as i read the title i knew what hole in the block you were talking about. Didnt know there was one on 24v blocks till i took off the factory lift pump bracket on my truck and destroyed the gasket. Luckily cummins is down the st and overnighted me a cover and gasket for $20.

My thoughts on the click baiting title... Greg knew what everyone would think using this title and it wouldn't be as bad of click baiting without the FOUR EXCLAMATION POINTS. True fans "like me" that are subscribed watch all of the videos for the content and don't assume anything by the title, some subscribers watch a few here and there and get pissed when Greg click baits, and then there are the randoms who only watch when Greg's videos show up in their related video feed and are viewed because of the flashy click baiting titles. The true fans expect Greg to be full of shit on the titles here and there. The people who don't watch regularly get turned off by the click baiting titles because they just assume Greg is full of shit and just say fuck this and avoid his videos. So in all Greg has a base of fans and possibly limits "turns off" new potential fans because of how he decides to advertise his content with flashy titles that aren't fully supported by the actual videos "hence the four exclamation points promising excitement". In all Greg takes a gamble with the occasional baity titles to get people to check him out in hope that they will like the content and stay over looking the actual title and lack of supporting content. How you may interpret the title may not be the same as another person because every interpretation is subjective but humans for the majority think the worst given a title like this video...

But can you really call it click bait? I watch the videos no matter what, but when he titled the video "scrap truck no oil pressure" is that really click bait cause with the first gauge there wasn't any oil pressure. Just like this video, he said there was a hole in the block, well until he put the Keating Machine fuel pump block off plate on, there was a hole in the block. I'm just saying, yeah I guess you can call it click bait but all these people unsubscribing because of the title of the video need to get over themselves. Greg could be click baiting like streetspeed and a few others that put up titles that have nothing to do with the video.

Old style square body bumper up front would still look best IMO. Rear one would like nice also, and wouldn't take away from the truck. Normally I'm not a fan of chrome on anything, but I'm digging the new front fascia you did on the truck.

Greg get some evapo rust and soak the metal parts of the pump in a bucket it Should clean them up. So you don't have to buy new one or loose your fuel level sensor. Should have it at your local auto parts store.

Dorman and spectra premium industries may offer a sending unit. I doubt there is enough time before your event but S.U.R and R remanufacture sending units if there is not an aftermarket available.

Drop in the fuel sending unit out of the 2nd gen same diameter and line connections even the same plug in for the fuel level i currently have a 92 sending unit in my 2nd gen but before putting any of the units in even a new one make sure to ohm your fuel float for proper function

You really should turn that idle up, if you haven't turned up the main fuel screw yet give it a turn or two it will bump the idle up too.

If you go to dollar tree they have a gallon jug I believe it is and it's some pretty good degreaser for only 1$ I use it Everytime I need something degreased or cleaned.

GREG, **** FIX THE RUST WITH OSPHO. its an awesome product that doesn't hide the rust, it converts the rust. Its a greenish liquid that you can brush on. " OSPHO causes iron oxide (rust) to chemically change to iron phosphate - an inert, hard substance that turns the metal black. Where rust is exceedingly heavy, two coats of OSPHO may be necessary" knock off the loose rust and brush this on. I wouldn't want to paint INSIDE my tank, so this seems like it's worth a shot. its NOT A PAINT, it simply converts the rust. It would work, just may want to check back up on it in a year and see how it's holding up with diesel. I'm guessing that part only rusted from condensation in the tank anyway.

Bombs Away is excellent stuff, but you have to be careful with it. I can't remember the specifics of how everything went down, but a guy I used to work with had to shit and had no paper, so he grabbed a rag that he thought was clean. Turns out it had Bombs Away on it. I assume it was folded up or something with the wet part to the inside. Anyway, he used it and it burned him so bad that he ended up pretty close to having a second hole down there. I truly WISH I was making this shit up. My local Fleetpride store found out about it and the guys at the counter tell the story to everyone who buys a bottle from them, and when I come in I'm always asked how his ass is doing. The crazy thing is that it's still funny!
