So, the paperwork shows 2 sentence reductions and at the time of sentencing level 42 category 2 is a mandatory life, level 40 category 2 is 360-life. I knew this because they were trying to give me that L, but I had no priors even at 40 category 1 they sentenced me to the middle of the guideline at 312 months. And I happened to be in the same joint with him when he started his bid.

People hop on any bandwagon that's going in the direction of the masses. However, some people do due time and later snitch. And you can't always leave from booking. Depends on the charges. I personally know 7 people who aren't supposed to be home right now. Three of them had life sentences. None of them told on anybody. I also know many fools who did NOTHING and are still sitting there to this day. I don't know the particulars of your case or the state you are from, but I do know that making an accusation or even insinuating that someone is foul without having proof will get you butchered in the penitentiary.
