To be fair, there were some leaks for the 3DS, though its annoucement came much more quicker. Also, I think in the mid-90s there were ton of leaks for consoles like the SEGA Saturn, Nintendo 64 and Dreamcast before their official reveals

If Next Level Games can’t do a new Punch-Out, that’s pretty depressing. I love Luigi’s Mansion 3, but I don’t want Next Level to just become another Mario spin-off studio. Something like Punch-Out works really well to spice up their portfolio, especially when no one else wanted to make a new one.

The Joy con looks actually really good. I feel like the whole “is this real is it fake” thing is now just an outdated concept as so many leaks, official and not, had basically the same design. We saw this same design back in September but now it’s finalized. This is real and that’s exciting, all I want to know now is when are we gonna see this thing

Actually, that there are so many leaks with same design is what makes it feel more "fake". Because once there is a design "leaked" (or invented by a random guy on internet) everyone else uses it to gain attention. This could easily be a 3dprinted controller with nothing inside based on the images leaked. The only thing that makes this feel real is the serial number that can be registered... but is it true that it can be resgistered? have you tried yourself? or is it just another random guy on internet who said "yes" and now everyone says is true too?

The chances of January 8 being the reveal time is at least 1 out of 83. Or about 1.2%. The only thing we know full proof is that it will be revealed before March 31st. Starting in New Years, it was 1 in 90, with the day after that being 1 in 89. And the Divisor being lowered by 1 each day. Not entirely accurate and some days actually have higher percentages, but these are the minimal probability for each day assume it has not already been revealed when each day passes.

If Capcom brings over the RE2/3 Remakes physical for it, I'll buy them. If so, then maybe the cloud version on OG Sw1 was for them collection $ to fund physical ver for the next system. But I still have no hope for 3rd party support like that. Yes, Sw1 had gotten the best 3rd party support vs. their past, but I don't see them going crazy on every game coming over. It's safe to say 100% the lvl of support is going to stay the same as seen on Sw1. 3rd party still favor Sony no matter what. Just key 3rd party games is needed.

Depite the fact that Capcom's support on the Switch was pretty dire, with the exception of Monster Hunter: Rise, which I consider the only major third-party title made with the Switch in mind that managed to be one the systems best-selling games, and Mega Man 11, I think the fact that at least they tried to port most of their most popular games like the HD Resident Evil games pre-VII, Onimusha, Okami, some fighting game collections and the original Devil May Cry trilogy (shame that they never ported 4) gives me hope that they'll port all the modern RE games, DMC V and Street Fighter 6. Though I'm not so sure if they have some sort of plan in regards to Monster Hunter, don't think Wilds could run on the Switch 2, but Rise was so successful that a new MH for the Switch 2 should be a top priority, but making a new MH for the SW2 is going to be really difficult since it'd need to have a similar scope compared to MH: World, though porting World could be an option for Capcom In regards to other third-party support, I think SNK will port The King of Fighters XV and also announce a SW2 version of City of the Wolves

Don’t be so sure with Sony. Their censorship policy is still a thing. Because of that policy, many 3rd party companies (including those key 3rd party companies) went multi platform as a result. While those companies will still put their games on a Sony console, the censorship policy will still be a hinderance. To those who don’t know, the censorship policy censors Japanese games. Also, if many 3rd party developers reported that they are on board with Nintendo’s new console, third party support for it is looking pretty strong by the looks of it.

Can't wait to see games running on Switch 2 and to know what they release in the first year. That will decide if i buy the console at launch or in the first year. Not so excited over most 3rd ports of older games, in the end its Nintendos games that decide it for me. Switch 1s first year was insane with Zelda BotW, Mario Odyssey, and Xenoblade 2 etc. I do hope we get that Trails in the Sky Remake for Switch 2 though. Wouldn't want to play that on Switch 1 if i already have a Switch 2 when it comes out.
