Miss Butters made my day! She’s so cute looking at you and sitting still with those cute pointy ears up. Ashwaganda is a nightshade, like tomatoes, peppers or others, not suited for everyone. Vitamin B complex doing the same and even better job, without the nastiness.

Love the vlog … so many fun bits! From one of your earlier videos, I noticed the Emile Cordon lip balm and on a whim ordered the Hampton one. I adore it. The scent is so wonderfully subtle yet takes me back to beach days so totally … I am now hooked. They are way more than I normally spend for a balm but they last so long after application but also you need just a little. Ordered two Dries Van Nooten lips and cases love them too but can’t figure out how to assemble one kit! Also got their fragrancediscovery kit which is so beautifully packaged and so far the fragrances are stunning. You’d likely really enjoy the set.

Good nose Michelle! Osmanthus is actually used to recreate the smell of apricots, peachy scents which we can’t naturally distill or infuse. That’s what’s giving that fruity smell. Good job! 👍

When you see American influencers and magazines hype a new sunscreen, keep one thing in mind: They live in a developing country when it comes to sunscreens. And even the cheapest Derma or Änglamark sunscreen will be a far more modern and sophisticated sunscreen than you can ever find in the United States. The Americans have smashed their market for sunscreens well and thoroughly, and therefore you can not buy sunscreens in the United States at all, which live up to the standards we have in Europe and Asia. In Europe and Asia, we have a number of new sunscreens that are far better at protecting against especially UVA rays, which the US authorities have not been able to get approved due to a hopeless legislation. Read more here. Therefore, even the best American sunscreen does not reach our sock holders when it comes to UVA protection, allergy safety etc. Poorer UVA protection - worse for the environment For example, we can look at Paula's Choice. Of course, they do the best with what they have at their disposal. Their sunscreens contain, among other things, the sunscreens ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate and octotocrylene. In particular, ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate and octocrylene have been phased out from most non-American sunscreens due to, among other things, the risk of allergies, environmental impact, stinging of the eyes and more. In the EU, we rarely see ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate in anything other than makeup. Octocrylene is still used - but is not allowed in the Danish allergy label. Supergoop! "The Best Skincare with SPF" should probably also have added "in the US" to their slogan. Supergoop! is also an American brand with the very limited number of American sunscreens available. They use in their best-selling Unseen Sunscreen SPF40 a mixture of avobenzone, homosalate, octisalate and octocrylene. So here is again a sunscreen that would not be able to get a Danish allergy label due to the content of the octocrylene. If you are American and need to buy sunscreen, both Paula's Choice and Supergoop are two really good offers - but as Europeans, we have far better options because we have more and newer sunscreens at our disposal.
