A useful minor tip that not everyone know: the inherent skill that increase danjin heavy attack dmg bonus after casting sanguine pulse, actually not require all of the skill sequences to be casted (3x skills) or even land a hit, so sanguine pulse is where you do NA>NA>NA>E>E>E , and the buff already applied at the first E after 3x NA, so if you have full forte but want to activate the buff to get more dmg just do 3x NA and 1x E then immediately do chaoscleave to not wasting much time to cast long skill sequences.

Sword#18 is also a very good free option for danjin. Easy to max out the dupe in a week's time of farming the materials to craft all the dupes.

You can also do something pretty cool with Changli and Danjin dual dps, which is when casting Danjin's heavy attack, during the animation where she does the multiple aoe slashes, you can swap to Changli to press resonance skill and you should have enough time to swap back to Danjin to continue her heavy attack and do the final hit of it, then go back to Changli to get the true sight. She's awesome!

sad to see that you've missed one of her best duos which is Taoqi. Her shield helps you to stop being scared to learn Danjin(I did it that way and now I can solo a lot of content), also she's great with Danjin's outro because Taoqi can easily deal 140k damage in simple rotation like ult->3 Timed counters. Not a lot of crazy ppl like me who have Taoqi fully built, so understandable if some miss it, but at least it worth a mention since its a really good duo Also, you can start Danjin combo with E instead of N1 which you should always use if you wanna main her because that helps getting max stacks for chaoscleave much faster. It feels weird at first but it really helps

Taoqi goes crazy. I use her with Jinhsi and Zhezhi. The shield she grants after using Resolving Caliber, alongside the 3 Rocksteady Shields, allows both Jinhsi and Zhezhi to play more recklessly. You won’t have to worry too much about damage when utilizing their quick play styles. And it frees up Verina and Shorekeeper to be used on different towers on ToA

Been a Danjin main since launch, s6. She is so fun but her outfit is one of the best in the game too. I got two standard 5 star swords early to run her and Rover together, but having two is also nice with units like Changli and Sanhua. I’m looking forward to running her with Camylla!

I've been playing Danjin Taoqi Sanhua cuz i got them all s6. Solid with plenty of synergy between their outros and quite safe to play thanks to chonky shields. Taoqi's forte, skill and liberation with Danjin or Sanhua's buff can put forth around 110kdmg in little time, tested that with Inferno holo 6. Not the biggest damage, but she's a shielder and that takes like 5-6 seconds.

To be fair, upon playing these characters on Holograms. Danjin just makes me panic because of her red or almost no health bar. While I am at ease with Yangyang having full HP. When basically they are just the same, Hologram bosses can one shot them but the full health bar on Yangyang giving me false hope helps a lot lol.

I use crownless primarily with an ATK+ATK (or ATK+ELE depending on substats) 26% crit rate with 330% crit damage is the way to go, although I do have R5 Blazing Brilliance for her, and yes I am able to solo several holograms, although i'm not good enough to win against Crownless/Heron. I just operate on a 'high risk, high reward' kind of thing. My weakness is either guns, or those pesky ice cubes, but otherwise doable. Even with a R1 5* you can solo-clear towers as Danjin, it's just HIGHLY dependent on how aggressive you are, and how many times you can parry, while utilizing counteracts to your advantage to fill up your gauge. When using Crownless you need to learn when to use it so it doesn't interrupt your flow (when the enemy is far usually). At her peak (for me), ATK 2525, with 140% Res. Skill, around 90% Havoc Damage Bonus, and around 50% Heavy Attack Bonus, with her final slash (full gauge) being around 50-60k (depending if the enemy has buffs)

Just wondering but with those stats how high can your crit rate go? I think the weapon would give about 22% and her passive is extra 15%, so in total you'd get to only about 63% crit rate? Or does that weapon passive also give additional crit rate?

26% crit rate is doodoo, get a crit rate 4 cost and you'll have 48/286 crit rate/damage wich will be way better. With some better substats you can get closer to 69% crit rate. 330% crit damage is useless if you don't crit.

@@nicksm2976 yeah I only have 62% crit rate and 249% c.dmg. with the passive it gets to 70%ish. I only recently started using her so not a danjin expert but I agree with you. Her damage seems to mainly comes from the chaoscleave and not getting crit on that is really frustrating

Also about danjin her output heavily depends on the echo substats. This would only matter if u want to do the tower content solo or with support. U do need an above average echo set. Her dmg is on the fence especially going against lvl 100. Missing one crit could mean getting 3 crest or not. Having a good echo set vs an acceptable echo set could mean making your fight a little smoother vs a really painful one. I main danjin as well xD the best girl

I recently put shorekeeper, baizhi, c6 danjin in a party. As long as the enemy doesn't have resistance to chaos, I could just kinda randomly pressing E & attack, and the enemy would be dead really fast.. And that with E skills at lvl.8 and other at 7. I do use standard banner 5* weapon.

I just recently did hologram 6 mephis and mourning aix with danjin solo and honestly it was the most fun time I've ever had with the game. She's a really fun character to fight bosses. I really want to do crownless too but unfortunately the havoc resistance is too difficult for my subpar lv 80 danjin to beat. Also this video made me realize there's a lot of things I didn't know about danjin but I guess I'm too lazy to properly use her, she's already a beast though.

My Danjin is S6 lvl 50 with lvl 3 talents. One day when I have the resources I will give her the attention she deserves. Which should be in a month or two in time for Camellya. I have pretty much almost all the characters I want built from support to main dps. Right now I’m building up Chixia and she should be done in about 2 weeks bc of weekly boss materials. Then I can work on Danjin or my S6 Taoqi built for main dps. Either way they are next on my list to build.

Also, as of now you can run Fallacy of No Return (Rejuvenating Glow, healer support) ALONGSIDE Bell-Borne Geochelone (Moonlit Clouds, Danjin). You see, Fallacy + Geochelone is better than: 1 - Geochelone (Rejuvenating Glow, healer support) + Heron (Moonlit Clouds, Danjin)... Because Fallacy is just straight up better than Geochelone, having a greater uptime (all the 20 seconds it takes to recharge as opposed to 15 out of 20) and offering Energy Regen. 2- Fallacy (Rejuvenating Glow, healer support) + Heron (Moonlit Clouds, Danjin)... Because while Heron can provide slightly more damage increase to the next character and deals considerable Havoc damage itself, the difference in the buff given to the next character is negligible and Danjin is a damage dealer herself, meaning that a 10% DMG bonus can be as beneficial to her as the extra damage the Heron itself gives. Moreover, you now can tank 2 hits before the next one results in the shield breaking, which is a pretty big deal sometimes, specially if Resonators that have a lot of Interruption Resistance but no DMG reduction (Jinhsi, for instance). Also, moving the usage of the Geochelone shield to the second Resonator means that the healer won't use it, so the risk of "wasting" shield hits with characters you know will not die even if they are occasionally hit (either because they have very little field time, like Verina and Yuanwu or because they have tons of HP, like Baizhi and Shorekeeper) is greatly reduced. I have been using Fallacy Glow + Geochelone Clouds for EVERY SINGLE TEAM ever since Fallacy was released, and I don't regret it at any. Like I said, Fallacy is just built different and as long as I manage to dodge hits, Gechelone is barely any worse than Heron for the DPS that will come next and much better than it for the sub-DPSs that is currently equipping it. And well, if I get hit 3 times, then usually the shield is the only thing keeping me alive, which is kinda important, I guess?

Everybody is praising Danjin mains, but she is ironically one of the easier characters to play if you know the enemies' movesets due to how easy it is to parry with her and her dodge counter gives lots of I-frames as well. It's easier to not get hit with her, but if you do you die.

Literally everyone in this game wants a skip button and you expect them to reset every other run? Even if you know the enemies movement, No she's not one of the easiest. And I'm not saying Danjin is easy to play for everyone, I'm saying she's easy to play when you're already comfortable with the game. It's a lot easier to no-hit a boss with Danjin then with a character like Calcharo.

Danjin is Easy if you master the game. but the question is, does mastering the game is easy? the answer is "NO" you need a lot of hardwork to master every timing and moveset of any Mobs and Bosses is the game which require a massive effort. danjin is really vulberable with low HP, you really need dedication. Soloing Hologram bosses with 1HP left is insane. I tried to main her and see for almost a month but I gave up since sometimes I get out of focus easily and I'm only s4 with her.

Try Danjin Main dps with Havoc Rover sub dps and Mortefi. Swap to Havoc Rover for a quick full combo when Danjin's concerto is full, and to make up for Danjin's lack of damage while the enemy is stunned.

I've been wanting to level Danjin for ages, but I'm too scared. I always love that sort of "sacrifice" gameplay that she has, but I'm not good enough (or maybe I'm just too old and slow now, in my middle age, lol). Still, with Camellya not being the Havoc version of Changli I was hoping for, that would support Havoc Rover, maybe I'll finally get Danjin levelled up. Got a max Lunar Cutter partly levelled already, which should do nicely for her in that secondary role.

Doesn't the first inherent skill double the hp cost and forte build up of every resonance skill, not just the dodge counter follow-up. Also worth noting the 2nd inherent triggers from any move of Sanguine pulse, this means you can do the first move to get the buff and don't have to commit to the final hit.
