BIG Rock fishing along the Remote Coast | Kayak Fishing Big SUR

Welcome to this week's episode of TLA. If you new to my channel welcome and I hope you enjoy the content. My name is Keith Nguyen, The Lost Anchovy, or TLA for short. This week I travel down the Monterey Coast to fish one my favorite places in all of California -- BIG SUR.
This location is beautiful as it is remote. I frequent this area once a year to enjoy the beautiful scenic drive down coastal highway 1. This area of the California Coast provides a variety of rockfish species such as coopers, blues, blacks, Lingcods and of course my favorite the Vermillion Rock Fish. Nice catches! Since you catch to eat you ever brain spike them immediately after catching? I've become a fan of this method. Spike and bleed, the meat quality is improved. Cheers

I’ve driven down Hwy 1 from Monterey but I haven’t found a good place to launch from. I’ll have to spend more time there.

Wow!!! I have so much of the California coast to explore. So far I got San Diego and Dana point off my bucket list. Definitely one day go up to Big Sur also. Thanks for the video

you'll be riding long long way on your boat.. that's 1 of the major difference why fish are so big.. rare to see boaters..
