I will say, I did get a 126600 SD43, from an AD in October. They originally told me they weren’t going to give me one, and they found out my profession and they told me they made an exception. It’s possible just not easy.

Greetings from Miami, your original hometown. If you ever come down, my wife and I would love to take you around our fair city. We'll visit South point park to see the cruise ships come in and out of the port. We'll visit AD's and eat Cuban food at Versailles.

Rolex is not really concerned about the end users. The ADs are their customers and they have stayed in business and supported Rolex when they had no watches supplied to their stores and still maintained the contractual agreements for branding and store space and staffing et al. I’m on the hunt for 3 watches that I’m still in a haze as to how to get ‘em. I’m frustrated and but i have good AD that I trust believe she’ll come through for me. Someday…….

And the flipper will just move the cost of doing business for those increases. Nothing will change except the end user will pay more. Paying more for the same Rolex stuff. Great take! I’ll say this, I have a large Rolex collection that I purchased well before the hype and I’m glad Rolex isn’t caving to all the people that want something they can’t have now that’s there’s more hype. Rolex is passionate about protecting their loyal customers and I’d be shocked if they up production and devalue their brand. Cheers

Upping production is only way route to solving this problem. There are several. 1. Up production 2. Transparent rules for waitlisting at stores or with ADs 3. Clear sanctions for ADs supplying to grey markets causing the artificial scarcity. By the way, I do have two Rolex watches in my rotation ( Hulk and Gold DayDate)

I don't see a problem. You can get a Rolex watch easy as long as you don't come in as a first time customer trying to buy a hype watch.

Rolex want their watches to be overinflated on the grey market . Its that Value that makes them even more desirable . If they increased production then the price would come down , making the brand less desirable . Its good for Rolex owners too . How many watches can a person own and then sell after years of ownership for a small profit or just their money back . Its like getting a full refund after using it for years 😂
