What type of flies worked for them. I'm in Idaho this week and we have a couple spots for smallies that we've targeted with tube jigs in the past. Any patterns you recommend?

@@euqnoj1 We caught them on big streamers, poppers and hopper patterns.

Sir, I have watched a lot more of your videos than I comment on. I really enjoyed watching you two in this video. I am blessed with a wife who loves to fish as much as me as well. We have been kayak fishing for over a decade together and love each and every trip we take. We have been as far north as Colorado fly fishing up in the small lakes out of our kayaks to all over Oklahoma, the state I grew up in, and now living in far East Texas. Fun Times and it's fun to see you two having as much fun as we doo. Keep up the fun videos sir. Dale

Awesome trip with awesome fish! Thanks for taking us along! I’ve been fishing near Fredericksburg recently, and caught some largemouth lunkers (5-7lbs) on your Dedeaux Snakes both white and black colors, and lost a big hawg (7#?) on a green Dedeaux popper yesterday evening..I’ll be going back🙂. Heading to Corpus Christi for a week..tied up some Clousers and Shrimp imitations. Hopefully I’ll catch my first saltwater fish on a fly.🤞Appreciate all you share and do Alvin! Thanks a lot! 👍👌✌️🎣

After watching your video, had to stop in and give their shop a once over. Didn't know there was a fly shop in Ypsilanti. Had one if the staff pick me out some 🪰 he would fish. We will see how it turns out, thanks for sharing your experience.

Hey Al-De, ever hear of a little old place over here in Wisconsin called Sturgeon Bay? Might be worth your time to check us out. Lots of chunky butt kicking Smallmouth. World class. Guy in Wisconsin if your interested, Larry Smith. Has a weekly TV show.
