Becca has such a sweet soul and I love that she's eager to learn even when it gets difficult. Most people would never even try, so darling, A+ for all your effort 💖 Naureen on the other hand, shocked me with her patience and kindness, she didn't judge Becca once but instead cheered her on and tried her best to be understanding. The narrator however, imo was extremely hard on Becca, sure she doesn't know how to cook but we all have to start somewhere, nobody was born already knowing how to do everything. Give people a chance.

First of all, we don’t think that at all 😂 the problem is that our parents when were younger take us to areas like that to show us what life is like when you aren’t comfortable. So that’s all we’ve seen as far as under privileged people. When I was younger my father would take us to skid row in LA to show us what we could have lived like if he didn’t work hard to give us a comfortable lifestyle. But never once did I think EVERYONE lived like that I was perfectly aware that people still had nice clean apartments or houses that didn’t have money. I just didn’t know anyone who lived life that way. However as I got older I’ve obviously met people who do not live the way I live and they are some of the best people I know. Would I chose to live that way on purpose? Absolutely not! Sorry to say that but no! I love my life and I’m grateful for growing up comfortable and currently being comfortable. And I don’t think I could survive without Nannie’s or housekeeping but I DO understand that just because other people do not have this that doesn’t mean they aren’t hard workers or that you can treat people differently because of that. People assume we don’t know these things but we do we just don’t want to be around it if I’m being honest.

The main reason people want to get rich is not to buy Ferraris and yachts but to live in a civilized safe place away from dangerous people.And yes ,it’s great living in a bubble .
@bunnylacy2097
@bunnylacy2097 Ай бұрын
Sure, feels great for the person in the bubble, but for outsiders, at times those in bubbles can be so judgmental and make decisions based only on their personal experiences that impact people they have no idea about. That’s fine, but people in bubbles shouldn’t be making choices on laws and so on that negatively impact the working classes life without having the proper experience first. Living in a bubble is dangerous (at times) for the ones outside of their bubble. Of course (usually) the ones in the bubble are fine. But other times, being too sheltered can put people into dangerous situations later on in life.

@@bunnylacy2097 It’s great to not ever mix with the undesirables, don’t worry there is nothing good that they miss ,The laws were ,are and always will be made to screw the working class and are made by dark forces who want to destroy a normal society and the established order and not by the people in the bubble .There were ,are and always be bubbles and good for them ,who needs the filthy experience outside of it ? No ,thank you ,they can live without the experience.

I've seen a swap series like that, it can be intimidating going to a huge country house but it was a good eye opener to the posh ones to learn real truths not imagined. The elders were very set in their ways and we're a bit arrogant but it was good. I think it was where children from different back grounds went to each others school or it was a different series

I don’t know if I would do this with my daughter but I definitely want to do what my father did with us when we were young and take her to skid row and things of this nature so she understands that she’s very lucky. So she understands everyone doesn’t get Tiffany’s and Tory Burke for their birthdays. And she definitely is a very kind child but just like we had to see “real life” outside of our community when we were younger I feel she should also. Because living comfortably is a privilege that my parents worked hard for and now her parents work hard for.

I laugh when they say rich kid. At 21 2 men proposed to me. The first I rejected bc he said I would get 20k a week and he would get 200k. The second spent 295k on a bottle of champagne and I thought that was crazy. They like me are well off kids but rich kids they are not!

Nureen and Becca are beautiful people. The narrator is very condescending towards anyone with money. It seems as if you come from any wealth, you are automatically stupid, naive, unaware of life as well as other people. Many wealthy have come from grass roots and worked long hours for many, many, many years. Yes, there are those who just throw money away, but my experience with wealth has shown there is a budget, there is an expectancy to give back to community, programs established, and community improvement initiatives. The poor are not our enemy, but neither are the rich. People from all walks of life are beautiful.

This. Commenters rave at the rich kids for the most basic of things that a small child could do, and act like they are mother Theresa. One of the most convincing - maybe Alex? Had a comment from someone who claimed to know him who claimed he didn't keep any of his promises, laughed about the poor family to his friends and ghosted the family. This person may be different, dunno.
