On the burgeoning South African drag racing scene, the sight of a BMW running a BMW engine is becoming an increasingly rare occurrence. For Steven Naidoo, the idea of fitting a 2JZ or engine from any other brand to a BMW is just sacrilege!
And so when a hero car of his, who he had been following for years, came up for sale, he jumped at the chance to own a South African legend.
Running a BMW 325 stroker motor (the displacement of which is a secret), in current tune, with 1.6 bar boost, the car is making north of 600kW on the wheels, which makes it quite a handful.

Thank god this man knows 2JZ swapped BMW'S aren't cool , I've been offered to buy a 2JZ swapped E46 320i , and i said no because i will not drive a car that has the village bicycle of engines around the 2JZ has become so oversaturated and boring whenever i see one for sale i don't even bother to look , I don't know why anyone would want to swap a engine into a car that's been done by thousands of people in thousands of different cars , we are South Africans we cannot try and wanna be like the Americans that swap the same shit into everything all the time like LS and 2JZ we cannot follow what they do we have to be special think outside the box if you want a 6 cylinder , BMW makes the greatest inline 6 engines period no debate

Agree 100% looks like it has 18" reps. A nice 17" will house the e36 brakes and allow for a goog ride hight, maybe he needs it a bit high for it to squat on take off

Hi sirs hope you both having a great day, these aren't reps and the reason for the ride height its set up for slicks so with the street tyres it looks a bit funny, i had 17s on and smashed my sump into pieces because of how nose heavy it is, 18s give me enough clearance over speed bumps etc

There are many exhaust housings available for it so I'm guessing he probably full spool at 4500rpm if he has the right housing on it It's not that big of a turbo actually around 76mm , around Garett gt42 or precision 7675

600 kw actually. A stock E30 325i made about 125kw. Not sure if its crank or at the wheels though. Hope that puts it into perspective buddy.
