Can you outrun Golf R's?

A tuned Golf R is not slow by any means, even with stock turbo. They seem to be able to do 100-200 in 9-9.5s if I'm not mistaken. The dsg box and quick responding turbo makes all the difference in real world, especially for short sprint where you really need a massive power difference to quickly reel car back in. This 316d is easily below 9s now, probably around 8s. (Was 8.9s with 125nm less torque and large boost drop between gears..). Sooo to answer question, yes should easily outrun most stock turbo Golf R with enough private road. When dual pump is installed and higher rpm torque restriction lifted, should be doing closer to 7s 100-200 with some luck. That's "stage 2" RS3 territory.
