@scienz I only hit 420 on the day I max out. So during my regular heavy bench day the highest I'll go is like 405. Which is cool, but I want to push further. I have a family and I work nights so it's tough finding a gym partner meet me at the gym at the exact time I need twice a week, because in the past forced reps would help me feel comfortable enough to move up in weight for my program. So I needed something I could do solo.

I hurt the tendons in my left hand from my last bench session 4 sets of 8 at 225lbs. I think I let my wrists bend back too much and was ignoring the pain for a while and wearing wrist wraps. Now I’m just trying to rest in general from the gym and let my hand heal, almost everything makes my hand hurt. Tough not being able to lift like I want to

I hit bench right now about 2-3 times a week… every 3 days.. so some weeks 2 times and some 3 times a week ex. Monday-Thursday- Sunday - Wednesday- Saturday- Tuesday- Friday - Monday-Thursday- Sunday repeat …

@@Anthony-lq5bx nah bro i get it like I really do im 6ft 245 500 is alot but also its only slightly above double my bodyweight , Im just clearing the air with my statement that all.. Ive been stuck at 500 for 1 rep and 520lbs pr for awhile but I realized I don't have to train like a powerlifter and try to fit in all my lifts in one week, especially since I don't take days off my recovery was suffering. So now I just focus on 1-2 lifts instead of 3.
