I've seen posts by women who were mad a guy bought his mom a house. Saying he should be saving his money or spending it on women. Basically feeling like they're entitled not just to a guy's time and attention but also his money. When I was a teenager a girl in one of my classes got wierd about me showing pictures of my puppy because according to her "I should be cuddling with girls". To be fair, the other girls in the group of desks were looking at her like she had something in her teeth, but still. And there were times some of the girls who tried too hard to look older would call out boys over their style/interests/goofy personality and say stuff about how that isn't going to get them a girlfriend. So there really are young women who just want to be the center of mens' universes. As an adult I've been yelled at by a girl I had plans with for gettin frustrated with a platonic friend bcause she always started drama. I had one girl I would game with who did SW and hard substances question me smoking (every commercial driver smokes because of the stress of the job), and she also would lecture me on work life balance/complain when I wouldn't be done driving for the day before she would go to sleep/harass me about eating when I wouldn't know when I'd have the time to stop/get on to me about not going out and doing anything irl when I'd be in the middle of nowhere basically. And then there's all the 20 somethings who get mad if you never ask them out while all they talk aout his how many guys they're talking to without doing or saying anything to suggest they were even interested in you. Under those circumstances of course you would see them as just a friend.

Dude I had like super weird experience online back when in high school too like. Legit wasn't even in a relationship with this girl and I basically had to deal with what it was like being in a relationship with one of these crazies. Like so the game we were all playing had an in game marriage system and having your characters married carried real in game benefits (5% stats for being married and another 5% when you're in party together) So me and my good friend always short healer to do anything ask this healer in our guild like hey you want to like join our group we'll farm shit together and split the loot. She agreed so our characters got married and like I just was subject to the like this bullshit of her getting randomly angry at me coz she message me in game (while I was afk coz you have to leave your character online to open shop) but would like constantly ignore me when I message her even though she is clearly online talking. I'm not sure if any of them are fake cause I've had a fair number of "reality is stranger than fiction" moments. And 1 that's happened to me, I had a friend and for the most part all she did was complain and talked about nothing else.
