Ken Davis nevermind RUN DMC and what they did for Adidas!
@marinevet41318 жыл бұрын
Porta Rocc actually Kanye did lift Adidas. Yes they had a NBA presence but it wasn't really doing much for the brand. Run Dmc was in the 80's can't even bring that up. Before Kayne nobody was really checking for adidas like that except maybe me "a die hard sneaker head" and others like me. The success of Kanye's shoes elevated adidas impact for this particular era which open doors for fresh new designs etc. Before Kanye and after Run Dmc no one was really checking for adidas on the level they are now. Top tens, the old kobes, and shell toes where getting some play but not on the level that yeezys and some of the newer stuff is now.
@portarocc8 жыл бұрын

Reasonable doubt is a huge album for hip hop and deff Jay's best body of work. But the way Biggs is talking about the effect from Reasonable doubt on the game is him trying to take credit for a movement in hip hop that was started by Nas. ILLMATIC had a larger impact, so if Reasonable doubt is the father of this current movement then ILLMATIC is the Grandfather. I mean jay sampled ILLMATIC and used it on Reasonable doubt.. I rest my case

"u educate urself that's the real secret"(slim thug). I work a 9-5 while trying to start my real estate business when I'm around ppl male or female u don't talk much so I can learn from they're failures mistakes just as I do from the success they gained. in Islam its a hadith that states there's no action without knowledge, so add knowledge to ur hustle n ambition.

That was a nice try to try to tie Kanye (and Rihanna... and Lee Daniels... and Kevin Hart...) into Bigg's Reasonable Doubt Anniversary project. Unfortunately, they had zero to do with it, so it's kinda weak that he's bringing them up to hype his project.
@YoungMannie928 жыл бұрын
actually it does, Because Jay-Z signed Rihanna to her first Deal, Dame Dash Put Kevin Hart in his movie, & Dame also helped Lee Daniels direct his first movie. So had Jay Z never succeeded with Reasonable Doubt in the very beginning which granted him bigger opportunities down the line, Who knows how things would of played out!
@UpdoggWhattt8 жыл бұрын
+Emmanuel Chenny Yeah... I watched the video and heard all that. What I'm saying is that attempting to tie those people to this Reasonable Doubt project - when their connections are hypothetical/miniscule at best - is a cheap attempt at cashing in on their popularity, instead of letting the album (one of the greatest albums of all time, imo) stand on its own merits. If it was a celebration of the three Rocafella founders, mentioning those artists makes sense, but it's about an album that none of the mentioned people were a part of, in any way shape or form.
