I went whale watching in 2004 (San Juan Island, WA). We went out with another boat, and the whole time all the orcas were circling and showing off and playing around the other boat. It was fine, it gave us a lot of good photo ops from a distance. Definitely not disappointed. But you can only go out for a certain amount of time, and eventually it was time to go. Our boat turned around to head back to the harbor, and all the orcas started chasing after us. It was like, "Whoa, hey, don't go, we'll perform for you, too, where you going, wait!"

I spend so little time on social media that I knew about none of this. My youtube is very curated to what I tend to watch and I rarely engage in reddit. Nice to have an update. Also, rich people are sometimes crazy themselves. Them building bunkers doesn't have to mean anything. They can also be just as paranoid as anyone else. Second, if an actual apocalypse happened, none of us are making it. Doesn't matter how fancy your bunker is, because people really don't think about the logistics of an actual fall out. Humans have always been a measurement of better than the sum of our parts with a few extra smarty pants people to lead a certain direction. Take away our numbers and you get a big problem. Losing a huge portion of us isn't a good thing. None of these wealthy people are even particularly smart either, because wealth is mostly generated by nepotism, ruthlessness and luck. You don't need to be particularly gifted or intelligent, you need to be lucky and start middle class or higher. (Seriously, there are rarely actual rags to riches stories. Look into anyones history and you'll see they're all firmly in middle class or higher. Poor people don't get out of poverty and most of the world is poor or lower working class.)
