Don't be fooled people. Samal island has some beautiful resorts with superb white sand beaches and coves, that offer a quality service and excellent cuisine . I know because I have stayed there, but you would not know this from watching Cheap Charlie here.

Would you please start including in your videos where are you purchasing your travel tickets when traveling from place to place? So those visiting the Philippines know exactly where to go in city X. first place I went on Samal was Paradise.. it was not what I was looking for much prefer undeveloped areas

Hmmm...... I did a Google search as we were heading south. Restaurants seemed thin on the ground on Samal which is surprising. Most offered fried nonsense. We lucked out with Virtu Trattoria tbh.

I ride the ferry across the Puget Sound in the Seattle area on a daily basis. I have never been on a ferry in the Philippines, but I have heard they aren’t as safe as in Washington State. I have read about accidents like capsizing from overloading and fires in the philippines in recent years.
