When I started carrying an ink pen several decades ago I carried a knife pen. It wasn't the sharpest either, but still a good backup to have on hand. I like that Appaloosa one. Such a nice pattern.

Unscrew the pen tip on the pen knife to replace the ink. It looks like a standard diameter ink but shorter than a normal ink refill.

Rough Ryders are a humongous bang for the buck. Some of my favorite slip joints. Sooooo many series with lots patterns you can try and not be out much. Gotta big ol'’ soft spot for their bow trappers Thanks for the look.

I've been looking at the Winter Bone line. I only seen 3 styles, are there any others? The white bone really appeals to me. The Appaloosa line has caught my eye also. Thanks for sharing JB!❤️

I bought a couple of the pens back at Christmas. I think they are worth the price. I need to get those Winter Bones. Very White indeed! Brian is such a cool guy. Yeah, double pulls have been around for well over a century. Plenty of explanations why it was done. But that doesn't mean I have to like them. I agree that is one sexy knife even with the double pulls!

Nico coloration on that Appaloosa! I’m fine with the double pull on a clip point - it tucks under the clip swedge and you hardly notice it. Nasty-looking on a spear, though. Looking forward to some new RRs. It seems like it’s been a looooonnnngg time.
