Hello again all you beautiful People . I hope you've had an amazing week and are easing into an even better weekend. A hell of a lot going on today. This breakdown was brutal as you will see. Took me quite a few days and still didn't get it finished, but you'll see what I mean in the video Another awesome donation from my farming friend and a huge amount to add to the stack. So sit back relax enjoy the video but most important be happy and have a great day 😁. Oh and while ive got your attention be sure to share the video with someone if you think they'll enjoy it as that will certainly help the channel crack the 1.5 million sub mark😆. Oh and if you're still here and you are watching from a laptop or PC, why not chuck on one of my longer playlists and simply walk away as that will increase watch time and also help the channel hugely but if not that's cool , thanks for watching and your continued support👊🏻

I'm in the comments today specifically for this. Star Trek has such beautiful music in the shows the movies everything. Deep space nine is one of my favorites for a show in the theme song, Though Voyager is a close second in both areas. The music he chooses to play for the drives in his truck never fail to make me smile. (Also on the subject of music every time the dogs are referred to as monkeys I hear the theme song to the old monkeys TV show in my head.)

If you have a use in mind for the cast iron plinth, then keep it. It won't be affected by hot or molten metal, for one thing, and if you clean it up and put some protective, heat-proof coating on it, it'll look ok. Once you've finished with it, (or find it's not quite as suitable for the task as you thought), it'll come in handy to put flower pots on, if nothing else! 😁 I suspect there's going to be a _lot_ of slag from doing that aluminium, what with all the dust and dirt between the fins. I imagine, once you reduce it all down, there won't be quite as many ingots from it as you think. The copper melts always look great, of course!

I wonder how much aluminum, tin and extra copper it would take to turn 1 Kg of brass into nortic gold (obviously no longer 1 Kg).
@joshp60615 ай бұрын
You made me curious so I did the math. To get to Nordic gold, which is 89% copper, 5% aluminum, 5% zinc, and 1% tin, from 2.2 pounds (1 kg) of common brass which is 61.5% copper, 35.5% zinc, and 3% lead, you can add 12.5 pounds of copper (that’s over 5x as much as the brass), 0.79 pounds of aluminum, and 0.16 pounds of tin, and you end up with 15.6 pounds of 88.5% copper, 5% zinc, 5% aluminum, 1% tin, and about 0.4% lead. It’s pretty hard to lower the amount of lead but I don’t know how it’ll affect the final alloy. If you try to add more to lower it’s overall percentage, the zinc will drop too much and you’ll have to add more of that, too
@pizza15x5 ай бұрын
@@joshp6061 I didn't realize that brass could have lead in it. Well that's unfortunate.
@joshp60615 ай бұрын
@@pizza15x not that it can, it just typically does. You could add like twice or thrice as much of everything to lower the lead much more but then you’d have to add some pure zinc too. Can I do the math on that too? What’s an acceptable % of lead, 0.1%? 0.05%?
@pizza15x5 ай бұрын
@@joshp6061 Sure. I would say 0.05%.
@joshp60615 ай бұрын
@@pizza15x Ok you gotta add a whole lot of copper for that 2.2 lbs brass (1 kg) + 110 lbs copper + 6.3 lbs aluminum + 1.25 lbs tin + 5.5 lbs zinc = 88.9% copper, 5.0% zinc, 0.05% lead, 5.0% aluminum, & 1.0% tin Though you'd only have to add 55 pounds of copper to get the lead down to 0.1%

Será bueno mañana volver a ver un nuevo video ¡¡Que tenga un excelente día !!
@bigstackD5 ай бұрын
Yes buddy, maybe if I did a quick 15 minute video it will get the viewers back in so I plan on doing that in a few weeks but I have a few videos to get out first and they will probably be around 45 minutes or more I’m guessing. at the end of the day it is what it is and if the channel has gotten to the point where people are over it then that’s just how it is I suppose. I don’t wanna have to take on any sponsors. That’s my main goal but I still love making the videos and will continue to make them into the foreseeable future. When I put out the one hour long videos, it’s extremely time-consuming and I get behind in normal everyday life but that’s my own fault as I just have really bad time management. Not to worry. Have a great week 👊🏻😁.

At 18:44 - Those are capacitors. S216-220 is just a model number. 216-259 MFD means 216 to 259 micro-Farads, which depends on the frequency of either 60Hz AC (North America) or 50Hz (pretty much everywhere else). It will operate at voltages between 220 to 250 Volts, AC. If you charge them up, and hold one in each hand - the back end, not the terminals - they can act as deterrents and protection against Drop Bears. . . . LOL! - p.s. - *Keep it!*
