Please join me for the FINAL structure build for Gruesome Gulch - and this one's a doozy! Follow along as I model "Lou Cipher's Mercantile," the burned out husk of the local general store. And thanks to a few simple special effects, the fire seems to still be smoldering inside!
Thanks for watching, amigos!

That looks so cool on the layout and yes it did look like burning ambers on that beam. This is going to be hit with the people when you get to your friends place to display it. Thanks for sharing this awesome project. GOD BLESS 🚂💖👻💖💀💖🚂💖

Great work. I have seen a lot of layouts with houses on fire and firefighters attacking them, but this is the only one that really looks as a real fire

"Music wire"? - lol, I'll remember that when I need to re-string my "sonic stick"! Seriously, glad I watched this - stellar build and great techniques, especially the signs and silver foil....

Thanks Dave for tutorial of burnt out building still smoldering, neat how use of aluminum foil has glowing embers from flickering light inside..liquid smoke once used in Lionel engine just adds final touches..

Great job Dave love your technique for painting and weathering plus erosion and burnt look P.s. Just a idea you should install mini cameras in train and layout so we can go along for the ride that would be so 😎😎😎😎😎

Absolutely incredible work you do . The one biggest quirk that I have with all rail dioramas is static people . They don.t move . this sucks . People need to move .

Love this one. Can't think of anything else to add. For smoke effects I have seen where someone used the parts from an electronic cigarette using just water, a little black ink would darken it too.😮. Thanks for sharing 👍
