Dad worked at the I H Experimental farm in Illinois from 1940 to 1965, as a result I grew up right there on the farm (their barn etc was my playground, oh ooo corporate lawyers and OSHA would blow a gasket if they could see what we did back then!). I remember when they went from a one row corn picker to a two row mounted (on an M) corn picker, was a big deal. Dads of that era would surely be amazed that a 20 row + pickers exists. Well in that era they designed 3 station milking parlors with bulk tanks, think he would be amazed at the rotary equipment to milk herds of thousands these days. If he were still around I'd love to take him to the World Dairy Expo here in Madison, probably another blown away reaction. What are our grandkids going to see? JimM

@gregjames5070 Жыл бұрын
The 8820 will burn about 18 gallons an hour. Times 3 equals 54 gallons an hour. The x9 about 45 gallons an hour. So the x9 will get more bushels per hour on less fuel than 3 8820’s. Not to mention two less operators!
