Presenting to you the authentic flavors of Bihar with our mouthwatering Bihari Mutton Curry, inspired by the famous Champaran style! This delectable curry is a culinary delight that will take your taste buds on a journey through the heart of Bihar.
In this recipe, we combine tender mutton pieces with a unique blend of ‪@EmamiHealthyTasty‬ Mantra spices and traditional ingredients, creating a dish that is rich in flavors and textures. The Champaran style of cooking adds a distinct twist to the curry, making it truly special and unforgettable.
Ingredients:
• Lamb (as required)
• Emami Mantra Turmeric powder (1.5 Tsp)
• Emami Mantra Red Chilly powder (2 Tsp)
• Emami Mantra Coriander powder (1 - 1.5 Tsp)
• Curd
• Emami Kachi Ghani Mustard Oil (as required)
• Salt (as required)
• Ginger Garlic paste (2 - 3 Tsp)
• Onion (700 - 800 gms)
• Emami Mantra Meat Masala (2 - 2.5 Tsp)
• Whole Garlic (2 pods)
• Emami Mantra Garam Masala (as required)
• Lemon Juice (as required)
• Mint Leaves (as required)
PROCESS:
• Score the lamb shanks and marinate it with turmeric, red chilli powder, coriander powder, curd, and ginger garlic paste.
• Mix and rub it well, add some mustard oil and let it rest for 6 hours to over night before cooking.
• In an iron pan add in some mustard oil and sear the lamb shanks.
• Searing will help lock in the flavors of the lank and keep it moist.
• In the same pot add in sliced onions and caramelize and put back the lamb shanks
• Add 2 whole garlic and let it cook in slow flame for about 2 hours.
• Once the meat is cooked finish it with some garam masala.
• Garnish with mint leaves and serve it hot.
