Took me two trials to get the near perfect Mutton Qorma, followed this almost to the T. Used more than a kg of meat and increased the ingredients accordingly! The onion literally disappears as you say in the video! Everything else works like a charm, and yes agar acche se bhunai hogi to color a hi jayega! I used a Dutch oven for bhunai , and cooker galaane ke lie. Used almond walnut paste instead of cashew chironji. Skipped javitri and shahi zeera. But this turned out almost like the one we eat at a Pakistani restaurant we usually eat at, here in Atlanta! Your recipes are magic! Thank you so much! ❤❤

Ranveer aap Lucknow se hain to aapko zaroor zaroor wo haldi wala saalan aata hoga jo pehle Awadh ki shadiyon par banta tha,unfortunately that recipe seems to have been overshadowd by Qorma. Ab kahi nahi milta wo saalan, it was heavenly with Khameeri roti. Please , please ,please wo recipe agar aapko aati hai to zaroor bataayein ,nahi aati to puraane khansamaan se dhooondh ke laaye. Last time I was in Lucknow, I was totally amazed and wonderfully shocked by the taste of Mutton Korma at Tunday. I wanted to try it out in my home since then. After watching this video those memories of Roomali Roti with Korma greavy making my mouth watery. Ranveer is making the recipe too simple, definitely have to try it out now.

Sirji, this recipe is priceless. I made it today. It came out awesome. I passed out of IIML in year 2000. Our institute invited chefs from Taj for the convocation dinner. I still remember the food that they made to this day. I spent two wonderful years in Lucknow. Had great food there. Whenever you talk about lucknow and lucknow food, it warms my heart and brings happy memories. Thank you so much for sharing this recipe.
