dude stop with the face close ups, there is nothing wrong with staying with the same frame. if you wanted to solely focus on one persons dialogue you should've given an entire shot directed specifically towards that one person. However, this is also a group discussion, closing in on one person excludes the immediate reaction of others. It could be said that this editing technique is done to give emphasize on the person who is speaking, but it takes away from the fact that it is a group discussion. if you look at interview on news channels or late night shows, no one does this. They keep everyone within the discussion in one frame, or at least those who are important to the discussion.
