Back in 1962 my Father rented a Honda Cub for a day. With a brief instruct, he turned me loose to put 11 miles on the clock, runnin around my front & back yards ! My "world caught fire" that day, and I was hooked on motorcycles ever since. Over all the decades and miles, on all my mechanical steeds, ((these little hondas)) always bring a sparkle to my eye & a smile to my lips...And have you seen Honda`s CROSS CUB ? YEOW !!!

Mark, I recognise 2 of those postie Bandits, Pete and Anthony. Like you Mark they like their bikes and have the odd one or 2 between them like you...lol. I still remember coming around the corner near Maydena in Tassie earlier this year to see a "swarm" of posties scoot past the other way with Pete head down between the bars trying to jockey for lead position in the pack. Had a good chuckle to myself as they were having a ball.

When you accidentally said Postie 120s I immediately had the Lifan 125cc engine swap come to mind. Supposed to give them much more power. The whole engine/trans are pretty cheap online, brand new. Might be an idea for a future build for you. Make the fastest Postie in the group. Haha

As a young teen my Dad passed on to me his Honda C90 which would not MOT again, he had been using it as a work ride. So my best mate, who had an OSSA 250 (and his Dads workshop) and I welded some steel plates between the back shocks and the swing arm to lift the back to get some ground clearance, stripped off anything it didn't need and for 2 summers I had the best time of my life on that thing tearing up the local disused quarry with him and the other local scramblers. Used up 3 sets of front forks but man that thing could move with just my 8 stone wringing wet skinny arse on it.

Some acknowledgement of that would have been appreciated. lee MMCC Sec.
