So true! Just put on my first 600 miles on this thing after getting one over the winter. All I can say is wow. It is so precise in every aspect from clutch tranny, engine, suspension, throttle that I can focus on riding because I don't have to work around any flaws. This bike is going to make me a better rider. Today I came into a tight curve and the car in front of me slowed abruptly, a quick matched rev downshift, firm trail braking, a no drama. First time I got all that right at once, LOL - but the machine just works with you. and that glorious sound...

Watched this review a few times before and after purchase of my 2020 GSX , very nice bike, top quality and finishes. like all naked bikes, you have to add mods to make it your own, I do longer rides and for that I added touring windshield plus clip on, Risers and air Hawk seat, they work very well on this bike, much better ergonomics , I am 5:11. I did 10k in 5 months, best of this engines is at 6K to 7k Rpm, pulls hard and sounds great. It is over kill for street but a fantastic sport touring if mods added.

@@BikeReviewcomau Thanks again for the review. I got busy and have still not traded. I test rode a XS S750 again today after reading your review again. I support everything you say. I have two questions. It is a little breezy compared to some naked. Have you tried a screen and does it make much difference? My second question is a little stranger. Today I got a lot of fine buffeting over 100km. Impacted my vision. The only difference from my previous test rides was a Cambridge heat grip controller sitting upright in the breeze. Would that be enough to cause uneven airflow? Thanks again.

Great review. I hear "great for the single bike owner" a lot. I have 3 others - a BMW F700GS, KTM250EXC and a cheapie dual-sport you won't have heard of. I kind of want something to play with in the twisties for a few hours, maybe do a track day but I have the Beamer for touring and some off-road (plus the dirty ones). Thoughts? Would a Dorsoduro/SMCR690 be better (can't afford a Hyper) - I LOVE the sound of this engine - and the price!!! Here in Mexico, this is nearly $3,000USD cheaper than a new MT-09!!!

Question. Does the Gsx-s have engine vibration as the revs climbed? I have a new 2023 and the higher the revs the more vibration that comes through the bars, the seat, the foot pegs and the gas tank. Is this normal? My mirrors are blurry at any rpm above about 4-5k too.

I can't get by the tooth pick rear swing arm. The cb650r has.beefy aluminum swing arm. The basic black and white dash I don't like. I also seen complaints of don't hold enough fuel, redlines too fast, the plastic is cheap and fades. I would worry about breaking them every time ya have to take off the tank. The tires are supersport so they burn up fast. And it's pricy, you can buy a brand new Ford Maverick truck for 20000 to spend 10000 on a motorcycle yikes.

I'm here to tell you if you want power and speed do NOT get the S750,, get a R750. the S750 is VERY HEAVY for it's size. it does have great brakes and good handling even with the JUNK rear shock. the GSX-S750 cruises at 65 - 70 at 4,500 - 5,000 rpm. and gets around 44MPG.
@joeyp41962 жыл бұрын
So u recommend the sv650 over this bike? Looking for my 2nd bike..
@redhytech2 жыл бұрын
@@joeyp4196 I recommend a better bike altogether. the SV650 is a nice bike, but it needs lots of improvements. the fork springs are week,and need dampeners. the rear shock is junk(replaced with a gsx-r750 rear shock), the factory tires are garbage. the brakes are fair, could use better pads. but as far as riding and handling,,, it's a great bike nice light weight, takes curves great( even better after new upgraded fork springs). I weigh around 215lbs, had my SV650 up to 114mph maxed out. I got the GSX-S750 because I wanted a better bike. it's wasn't the GSX-S750. that bike not only is made cheap but it's slow and HEAVY. i put a X-TRE power Box on it and it boosted the power for the first 3 gears,,,much needed improvement. but it still wasn't what I expected any 750 to be. I had mine up to 120mph in 5th. and I had to really push it to get there. I traded it in on a 2020 Katana 1000,,, FUCK YEA. now that mother kicks ass. sure it's no GSX-Rxxx but for a 'naked bike' fuck me, it's fast. looks good, rides great, handles awesome. has it up to 126mph with plenty of power left. it's very hard to keep the katana under 70mph.. the son of a bitch wants to FLY. I have around 1100 mile on the katana,, I'll know more by the end of the summer.( if the damn thing doesn't kill me first,LOL). but if you are just wanting to ride around town the SV650 is a awesome little bike. i ride out in the country more than in town.

@@redhytech thanks for the reply. Yes my MO is to ride around town and not get into trouble. My MT03 is a great beginner and it served its purpose. But ready to move on.
