This review is spot on. I own the GSX-S750 (my 2nd bike) and it's incredible value for money. Smooth 4 cyl engine and slick gearbox, power is easily manageable down low in the revs, a rocket between 5,000 and 10,000 rpm, and generally usable on the street, riding position is a good compromise between sport and comfort, throttle response is precise and linear, dash is simple and clear, suspension is perfectly fine for aggressive or relaxed street riding, no brake dive, tires are excellent (Bridgestone Battlax S21), front brakes are progressive and lack initial bite (some like and some dislike this), rear brakes are solid, switchgear is simple and intuitive. The narrow handlebars might seem a bit awkward at first but when you hit 120km/h+ on the highway you do feel much less wind resistance than on other nakeds due to riding position and handlebars. That being said, a good helmet would go a long way to reduce neck strain on longer rides on this bike. What would I change? Levers: work fine but aftermarket ones can definitely offer some improvement; Rear Fender: must be eliminated :); Exhaust: see Scorpion, SC Project, Yoshimura, Arrow for some excellent options; Mirrors: again, they work just fine, but a sleeker look would be nice; Turn Signals: LED signals would be an improvement; Windscreen (for long rides): not really necessary in my opinion, but the Puig Naked New Generation is a fantastic option that looks the part. If you're looking to step up from a smaller displacement bike, I would strongly recommend the GSX-S750.

I love this bike mate, but the fuel cosumption?
@khalidalbastaki52147 жыл бұрын
Savagemotodog Fuel economy is not the best. I'd say it's typically in the range of 35 to 45 mpg for me. I primarily use the bike for weekend blasts or short trips out of town, so fuel economy doesn't bother me much. However, I have also used the bike to commute to work in the city, with lots of stops, traffic lights, speeds mainly below 50km/h, and I was quite surprised by how thirsty she was. If I were looking for an inner-city urban commuter, I might prefer an SV650 / FZ-07 / Z650 over this, but say for commuting between towns, a weekend trip or light touring, that smooth 4 cylinder engine does it for me!

very nice to hear that. Your comment itself is informative and a guide. Here in India It is going to be launched within a few days. I am planning to upgrade from my royal enfield 350 which is a different kind of bike. I am interested now in a street kind of bike and I had the z650 in mind. But of course suzuki naked bike design is the most pleasing IMO. But my main use is in the city.

I own a 2018 GSX-S750 and pretty much agree with everything you said about it. I actually made a 40 min review of it and made very similar points and arguments about the bike. I was looking between this, the Z900, and a used Street Triple. Definitely love it's dual personality and the fact that you can use most of it's power a lot of the time without being too fast. It's a fantastic bike for the price; very underrated!

I’ve got an sfv650 as my first bike going on 4 years now. Looking for my second bike and I might need to go with a liter bike just for the extra power on the highway and the occasional hellcat. Here in the states most people are going 85-90+mph on the highway and definitely need the extra top end power.

This bike is the last of the UJM's its a 750 with a direct lineage to the 1969 Honda CB750. I own one, and I am NOT selling it or trading it in. It has the potential to be a true classic. its not a 900, 850, 800, three cylinder weirdo-vibrator or a thousand... It's a 7-fifty the only true superbike!!

I've watched a lot of bike reviews, and most of them don't really give you a good feel for what the bike is like. Your review here is great in that respect. Loads of good feedback and relevant information. I appreciate that it's not filled with inane babble like most reviews. Very helpful! Oh, and the #1 thing I look for in bike reviews is the rider's impression of hard acceleration - off the line and through the gears. I like a bike that makes me yell in surprise as I hang on for dear life. The second thing is handling.

Having a 200hp forever bike in my garage, I decided to buy a used 2015 s750 as a 2nd bike for short runs and errands around town. I discovered that I'm far more relaxed on the s750 and can ride much longer before fatigue. Love this middle-weight, as it can do it all and sounds amazing while doing it. It's now my go-to so much that I've considered selling my forever bike.

Coming alive from 6000 onwards is due to the ECU. The valves on this bike don’t fully open at full throttle until 6000rpm and onwards. Even then it’s only 99.1%. All can be fixed with a ECU flash. :). Also a common fix is to stop the fuel cut off when the throttle is released. This can cause it to be jerky. It’s done for economy and emissions so it’s up to you if you want to do that.

Great video mate, I loved the fact you tried to maneuver the bike at low speeds. This is something almost no one cares about. A few things I'd like to know about bikes being reviewed. - Does it get hot in the city? - How does the handlebar feel? - What type of tires is it using? - Gas mileage - Ride it during the night (if possible) to see how good/bad the lights work. - What's the torque and horsepower? We can look for it online but to mention it is nice. I'll make sure to watch more of your videos.

Good video, just got a brand new 2020, one month, 1600km, very nice quality, very detailed, all cables well hidden, all black, looks nice. The seat could be better, the back of the seat is higher, it pushes you towards the tank, not comfortable at all after 30 minutes, also the handlebar could be one two inches higher, again you are leaning on them. I don’t recommend driving on Hwy , too much wind above 100km speed. I just installed a touring puig windshield, helps but still not a good ride on Hwy, no problem with speed , it is too much wind. For city riding and county road , it is perfect.

I have this bike, same color too. I have had tons of bikes. The review nailed it. I would add that philosophically (an odd term to use but hang with me) I love this bike. I had bikes with crap-tons of power and you don’t access that power nearly as much as you ever think you would. So, not only is it boring, but also analogous to when you see the jockeys 🏇 riding their horses up to the starting gate and the damn animal is totally confused and the jockey is just managing the thing. Its like that on a crazy powerful bike. This bike is fun.

What I'd like to see are the bike up close. As in, take off the saddle. How easy is it to maintain? Do you need to remove this to have access to that... Is there room for a disc brake lock somewhere. Stuff that I'd actually be dealing with if I'd genuinely want to consider living with this bike. Quick tip, hope it helps you :)

The MT09 not only has higher handlebars but the distance between the seat and the bars is shorter, I found it way too upright for the kind of power it has, something like the Z900 or the 790 Duke makes it much more fun to ride seriously. But I guess if you enjoy wheelies nothing beats the MT.

You read my mind. I have a 2017 SV650 and am looking for my next bike. I had a 03 GSXR 1000 before the SV and just got tired of the aches and pains. Specifically the wrists, and now that Im a bit older I was also getting hip pains on longer rides from the leg position. So thats my only concern with the GSXS. I know it wont be as extreme as the GSXR, but Im hoping the ride position is more similar to the SV, than the GSXR. I pretty much had the 18 GSXS 750 as my next bike, but am still researching. This video helped. Thanks

Hi! In february I plan to buy a brand new bike. I did a test ride with MT09 and it was OK, but the bike seems smaller than this one. I sat on gsx-s1000F and it was OK (seat height 810 mm), but I think that gsx-s750 (seat height 820 mm) would fit even nicer as far as I am 186cm tall and have 84 cm inseam. What do you think? I also considered Tracer 900, which is perfect, but from my childhood I am dreaming of four cylinder bike. Do you think that gsx-s750 would be OK for me? Good on you for giving this bike a fair review. You showed it is actually heaps of fun on its own when others bash it for not being as powerful or exciting as the Z900 or MT-09. It does have some stiff competition, but it’s one of the most complete and balanced packages out there and it’s priced right at $1000 more than an SV650! Useable power, good comfort, great brakes and suspension, and character to boot make it a winner to me whereas the others are mostly whizzbang engines making up for not as stellar ergonomics, suspension and brakes.

What do you think about the wind protection going over let's say 120 kph on the highway? Is it really missing the fairings? I'm looking into upgrading my CB500F and can't decide between another naked one or the faired one. Thanks

I would like to see stopping power, especially from an ABS bike compared to a non ABS bike, I would also like to see some commute reviews, I commute 45 minutes on highway and would like to see what is good for that. Thanks.

Thanks for this video. I am in the UK and looking to buy a middle weight naked bike for road use. I am coming down from a GSXR 1000 which was just way to quick for road use. You asked at the end of the video what else you would i like to have seen. Would be good to get more of a detailed look at the extras eg whats on the dash, what electronic does and have / not have, are the brake lines braided or not, that kind of stuff. off to go and watch your review of the Z900 and see if you have done a review of a triumph 765 RS

Probably don't expect a comment four years later. These bikes are even cheaper by comparison today. TheZ900 has smoother power and can be like an automatic. Ride it from 2-8000 rpm. But can't use the power legally. I like your comment about the rest from the Suzukis . the GSX S1000 was the same. An edge somehow, compared to the smooth Z. Looking to buy a new one.

you said it was a little flat down bottom. But in the video it looks like you have traction control 3 on? That will flatten your acceleration.

Great video content mate! I’m looking to get my first big bike. I was initially looking at the SV650 but I love the aggressive look of GSX-S750, what advice can you give me? I’m 5’9” in height. I would love to hear your thoughts on this. Thank you very much! :)

I'm 1,70m...around 5'7'' and I find it very manageable, given its a quite heavy bike

Why does everyone seem to blur out their speedo when they start going fast now!? Can they get caught or something? I personally love looking at the speedo 🤷🏻♂️

I don't mind when reviewers say 'flickable.' At least we know what you mean. I more dislike when they say 'smooth' because they rarely specify which of the many possible interpretations they intend. I'm curious what this bike is 'light' compared to. z900 is 463lbs wet. fz-09 is 421 wet. gsxr 750 k7 is 419; While this gsx-s750 is 469lbs. It's average at best IMHO. (Or are we comparing sport nakeds to Harleys?)

Hi, I am or rather I will be a beginner getting my A2 license. Anybody know if this can be reduced to A2? Would you recommend it as a beginner bike? Was looking at the Z650 at first but I think this one is much more pretty :)
