Tracy has a great and laid-back attitude , it really-is ...only about the-fun . You can see that the big Duke fits-her-better , so-important in a bike . Ross , I'm a little-jealous , I always wanted an SF , I had a Mirage years-back (imported from Oz ) . It was a big, heavy-beast and great on the-open-road (scud-missile with 'Manners' ) but I like the idea of more-nimble bikes like the 750 , well-done mate ! Dave nz
@BikerTorque Жыл бұрын
Hey Dave, thanks for watching, I have seen you comment on a few videos now. Yeah, love my SF…except…holed the left side piston about 6 weeks ago, so it’s off for a rebuild in the new year. Tracey’s awesome, I only bet her and her husband Cliff through the channel, we now occasionally get to catch up for a ride which is awesome.
@kdsowen2882 Жыл бұрын
@@BikerTorque That was bad-luck Ross , a fine-looking example-though and you will know exactly what you have once it's all-sorted . I have come so-close to buying-one in the-past (twice ) , I would have to sell all my toys to do it now . I do keep having to remind-myself that my old XV (TR1) really-does satisfy my bike-needs (it's Very-sorted) but I still get-tempted . 70-100hp is probably the sweet-spot for the very-twisty-roads I ride and fast rocket-ships don't do -it for me anymore . It really-is all about the Fun-Factor ; it has to look-good , sound-good and have a personality . Dave

@@kdsowen2882 couldn’t agree more and to be honest my favourite never sell bike is my 1984 BMW R65, it’s only about 40 Ho but will happily sit on 110. I’ve owned it for 23 years and there is a bit of a family story behind it that I will tell one day on the channel.

@@kdsowen2882 I do love the Laverda also, when it’s running well it is an absolute joy, I will definitely be getting it sorted in the new year

Tracie sounds like an avid sport bike rider. I’m surprised she didn’t like the gixer better than the Ducati on the track. Nice interview Ross!

Great stuff Tracey - Swapped a ride on my bevel 860 for a ride on a 1000 3C Laverda in the '70s Right hand gear shift and all. Still remember, beautiful bike.
@BikerTorque2 жыл бұрын
Yeah the right side gear change takes a bit of getting used to, spent a good 30 secs at a set of lights with my foot under the brake trying in vain trying to put it in neutral. I love a 3C one day.

@@BikerTorque tell her.. it doesn't need to rattle & really, it shouldn't either.. the fix is quite easy to remove clutch basket backlash.. new sub.. let's see Trace on trace.. good head on that lass.. happy biking from NZ

That might be the nicest Ducati I have seen. Whichever way you look at it, that is a gorgeous bike. ... Am generally not a Ducati fan, and pay them little attention; only look to see if I like it. Generally do not like the look of Ducati.
