Wow this was great. This is going to make me feel good about getting up and doing hip replacement therapy even though it will hurt.

Oh thank you, so much Mr.Johnson!! My hips are both bone on bone...suffering such pain for 3 years, a forearm crutch in each hand, I feel hobbled and tethered! My bilateral total hip replacement are scheduled for two weeks away, you greatly inspired me with your comment!! You continue to have a wonder full life Kevin!!!!

@@donnasmith275 Well its been over 1 year now and the pain is gone, I can sit on a chair and pull my socks on (hmm the small things) but im not 100% but close to it. Donna do your follow up with physio and it takes a lot of work (I found walking every day made a huge improvement) you will do this and thank yourself and the people that get you through it. After the surgery you will think ''will I ever feel good'' and just over 1 year ago that's what I thought, went from 2 crutches, 2 canes, 1 cane then free once again. I wish you all the best and just go with the flow you will be fine. If your taking Jaurdiance for diabetes stop taking it 4 days before surgery it almost killed me. I didn't use a walker because I was so used to the crutches and in the UK they use these weird crutches not walkers. God Bless you Donna

@@donnasmith275 I forgot to mention I had the surgery to the front they don't cut the muscle and the recovery is quicker, doesn't matter because the most important part is going to be fixed

@@donnasmith275 sooooo, how are you making out(not that in that way lol) no for recovery, it starts very slow but push yourself if it hurts stop but if its dicomfort work through it you wont fall apart, my surgeon told me he moved my legs into positions a human should never do. So think Gumby, I found walking was the best I went further every day and took the odd day off. Now 1yr 3months later i can put my own socks on and even get on the ground and up,still feel a ways to go. Good luck all the best you will get better After surgery i went from 2 crutches to 2 canes, 1 cane finally free for all... you will know it when the time comes and we all heel differently
