The Black Duck was the notorious rum running boat back in the 30's that was eventually shot up by the coastguard when they finally built enough horsepower to catch it. They never could catch them at first. They used to run in the thick fog at night. It had a few hideouts in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. It used to run Canadian whiskey and rum to and from Canada. I still have a few bottles from my great great grandfather. Not sure if the whiskey is still drinkable though the bottles are still capped.

I went to the University of Rhode Island, and our Senior week party at Newport beach was one of the best times of my life! I pretended to be with this sorority and got on a yacht. Then went up to the sorority and told them about the yacht, and some followed. Gray goose and silly broads. One of the best nights of my life! Thanks to the rich dudes who made it happen! They seemed pretty happy with just having pretty girls on their boat, so win win! Was great! I also interned in Newport, which sucked because I had to pay the toll to cross the bridge every day, but well worth it in hind sight!!

As a European i have to admit that when it comes to stand-up or comedy we ain't got shit compared to the US. Just stumbled upon Bill Burr, amazing guy amongst many others you have. I'm mean we have some good stand-up comedians over here, but it's on a complete other, much lower level. I just realised a lot of punchlines and jokes i love and admire from european artists, are just plain copies or cheap rip-offs of people like Carlin or Louis C.K... personally i only know one guy from Europe that could stand in line amongst your greatest.. his Name is Josef Hader. If I saw Bill Burr in public I would have an insatiable urge to yell, "Hey Bill" and tell him that he's my hero, but I'm afraid I'd just end up irritating him. Maybe I'll just do pistol fingers and wink at him or something subtle and he'd think I was so cool and wonder what it would be like to be my friend in real life. Then we'd become friends and even though we live in different places he'd know there was always a room for him when he was passing through and from time to time he'd crash at my house. Even though it might be a year or so between getting to hang out, it would always be like no time had passed at all. Boy, those were the good old days. I had a lot of growing up to do back then, but yet, didn't we all?
