I totally agree. I had a discussion with a coworker about the exact same topic. When I was in my early 20s I came across a story of a white architect who had a stay-at-home wife. Now this was a woman who was completely cared for. She didn't have to cook and clean like a regular housewife. This guy owned his own business and they lived in a mansion. One day the guy gets called to the hospital because one of his 4 sons was hurt and needed a blood transfusion. Cut-to, the blood didn't match. The man wanted to go talk to his wife, but the doctor was smart enough to tell him to wait and check his other boys. Turns out none of his sons are his. He only has one more kid. His first child was a girl. She is the only child that is biologically his. I don't include race to be racist, but to show the distinction between how different women view the actions of this woman. I'm in an interracial relationship. But I think as a woman of color who has always had to work, I appreciate a good man. So they end up in court, and the judge tells him he can't even tell the kids they aren't his. He was forced to move out and get an apartment. Meanwhile his wife is using this time to turn the kids against him. Especially the daughter (his only actual kid) The daughter won't talk to the dad. The mom convinced the daughter that the dad is wrong to have raised the boys and now to want to disown them because of biology. I told my coworkers he never said he didn't love the boys. But let's not ignore the betrayal. He deserves to know who the real dad is if he has to continue supporting these kids. Now my coworker was on the woman's side. I couldn't believe it. I told her it was bullshit. I told her as a black woman I feel like this woman had won the marriage lottery. She had a hardworking man that was faithful. All she did was betray him. And if this is all about the kids, don't they deserve to know who their real dad is. This started with a medical issue, so that proves that the biological father was necessary. But the judge (asshole) forces the guy to keep supporting the whole family, and let the wife and bio-dad off scott free. They won't even let the man know the name of the bio-dad. It could be the next door neighbor or his best friend. All the white women in my office saw nothing wrong with it. And the wife's excuse for cheating was ,"You were never around" All the sistas in my office thought she was just a selfish slut. I consider myself a feminist, but right is right..and wrong is wrong.

The part that I have never understood is why the justification of he still loves the kids needs to be made. So what if he doesn't? The guilty parties are the wife who cheated and the loser bio dad. I took her to the bar when she wanted to play pool. She didn't have to pay shit on rent so that she could pay of her study debts. For her birthday bought her gifts way in advanced to make sure it was on time, figure out how I could supprise her on her birthday for breakfast and dinner and a nice day with things to do. Teached her how to ski, dive etc. I accepted that she slipped up with her coworker, wasn't a one day slip up.. it was over 2 months. Anyway, told her: ok can happen it's forgiven, but don't do it again. What did she do for me? Twice she didn't have a birthday present. Did not think about anything that we could do together.. About half a year ago she was done paying off her study debt and our relationship quickly went south, complaint after complaint. She quit the relationship. My friends ask me: why don't you date another women? My manager doesn't understand it either.. But I've made my choice: fuck humanity. I will remain single. Naturally curious, they wanted to try it out and asked OP(ie husband/father) if they could try it. He figured "could be cool!" and joined in. They all went and each did a DNA ancestry test. And that's how he unexpectedly found out that 2 out of 3 of his kids each had a different father...

Been single for 8 years now, I'm 43. Best 8 years of my life so far! I attract women that only live in the future, never in the moment, never good enough. Singleness is my destiny!!!! Things I've done without a significant other: held the best job in my life, started my own business, renovated 4 houses, built 10 miles of mountain bike trails with jumps.... the list goes on!

Bro…I’m really feeling this. I was married for 12 years until the beginning of 2020 and although I am unemployed now, I feel that if I can just pull myself out of the depression that has threatened to destroy me, not only will I get the best job and career of my life, but my life will turn out the way I want. I tried making a woman happy and it didn’t work. I’m not even remotely interested in trying it again. I have realized, as part of my healing process to become reacquainted with myself and my interests, that the time I have to achieve the things which make me feel awesome and which I wish to achieve, simply cannot happen if I am working to appease a woman. I love women. As friends only. Anything else is too high of a cost.

I see a lot of comments from people saying things like 'you helped me through a tough time' or 'thanks for saving my life'. I need to add one: Thank you, Bill Burr. You explained something that happened to me in such a perfect manner that I actually just accepted it. After almost 3 years. I mean, I've been fine with it and moved on. And I'm, somehow, in a fantastic relationship now. I think I've harbored guilt even though I know I didn't do anything wrong. Not any more. You told me right to my face exactly what happened to me and why I shouldn't care at all. It's what I needed to get me all the way around the corner. You said you're just the messenger. Thank you for delivering that message.

This is interesting, but I’m an aspiring musician who has been debating leaving my girlfriend because she constantly belittles me for working a lot and having hobbies. The Bill Burr commentary on the woman complaining about the man working long hours and chasing dreams really helped solidify my stance that this isn’t healthy. Go this, I guess haha
@dahliafiend3 жыл бұрын
You could quit music and get a state job for the rest of your life and she might still leave you for a guy with a better job or have an issue with one thing or another. Ten years from now you’ll look back and see you spent a big portion of the only life you have trying to please someone who’s not even around anymore anyway. If you are serious about music. Do it one hundred percent. If you are more serious and in love with this woman than consider compromise but if she’s belittling you that’s probably not the case. It’s easy to say this shit but harder to do I know.

I just had to tell somebody somewhere, that I wrote a deeply personal thing for a successful female friend who was also from a home full of death and addiction, and I wanted to make sure that it was 100% right-minded, non-romantic, non-sexual, and genuine. I found feminist threads on social media sites and asked very nicely if this was a good place or if anyone knew of a good place where I could ask feminists for their advice on this personal matter. I sent private messages to the mods apologizing, explaining it was my first time using these social media sites. Every....single....fucking....one.....banned me immediately.

This was very funny. I was with a girl for 5 years and every holiday we went on was the same boring beach resort bullshit. One year I said fuck no and we went hiking/camping in the Lake District (a national park in the UK) cus that's what I wanted to do, she complained constantly, completely ruined the entire trip, and actually forced me to cut the holiday short after 2 days and we came home. I remember being sat on the train, staring out the window at the beautiful landscape as we hurtled away from it while she stared at her phone with a face like a slapped arse.

@jordank1489 Жыл бұрын
@@SickOfItAll-do1cf nah, just need to be more discriminatory in who you're spending your life with. It's important to know that you can't think your way out of loneliness, you need human contact in the same way that you need water or sunlight. Without it, you unravel. So don't push for perfection in a partner, just know how to identify someone with good intentions who can be reasoned with. My current relationship is much better, because if I want to go to the Lake District and walk about in the drizzle for a week she'll just let me go alone and not try to make it all about her. Then I come home, with a few stories, a refreshed mind and a whopping great horn on

Both of them had kids from the previous marriage. 15 years after the device my father gets a call from his ex to tell him that the son he had for 24 years is not his. The son from my father's previous marriage was a heroin junkie, on multiple occasions he robbed us, he stole every thing. My parents spent a small fortune to help him and it was a living hell. Imagine how my father and my mother felt when they received that call? My family was nearly destroyed by this monster. She should burn in hell. Afterwards my father got sick and nearly died. After growing up under abusive women, I developed a deep distrust for the concept of "partnering" with a woman. Too many examples of pure meanness and hateful acts made me determined to stick to the concept of "no entangling alliances." I don't hate women as a group. Some of them are sooo nice, until they've got the claws on a man, then it's her saying "I'm in charge now that I've got you!" That was my STEPmother. She brought out my ability to hate. I hated her brat, male, my age. What a piece of shit he turned out to be, spoiled and never happy, unless he was tormenting me, or tormenting the cat. Tell me to believe all women are truthful, tell me there are NO lying women, no evil women, etc, I'll tell you you're wilfully dishonest or incredibly stupid. I hate the idea of being controlled by a emotional, illogical woman. I respect most women, but I don't gamble with my well being. Thanks to 2nd, 3rd wave feminists, a good percentage of women are trained to inflict irrationally stupid pain on men, because AS WE ALL KNOW, all men are bad, or so they claim. Too many unlikable, conniving females have ruined desires by many of us to just say "Fuck it, I won't join the fools, I won't participate in the whole relationship thing." As I said, I don't gamble. I know. I'll get the whole "You know what your problem is?" My answer: "You, and anyone like you."
