I actually saw Don Rickles in Vegas shortly before he died. People that old and chronically ill should not be performing. He had a bad cough the whole time, half the show was old video footage, and he got a standing ovation for standing up for 2 seconds; a literal "standing" ovation. It definitely didn't feel like seeing one of the greats.
