I can't speak for other women, especially because I don't fit in with most of them, but for me, I watch these reality shows to relax and turn my brain off. Because they are so steady and nothing is ever really wrong and it's just silly drama or whatever, then I feel safe and calm and can fall asleep. I can't fall asleep after watching the walking dead or Game of thrones, etc (other shows I love)

I hate all reality shows because i find them very boring, they're all the same (very annoying) and don't set a good example for kids and our society. You seen one you seen them all. Yes decent classy people don't watch reality shows plain and simple. So as a conservative Catholic to me these reality shows are a moral decay in our society that is numbing the youths minds. Plus not only that all of these reality TV shows have killed off real TV shows with real actors and actresses playing fictional characters during a time when watching TV meant something. Who the f*ck wants to watch real low class blue collar people playing actual people with scripted drama trying to bring in TV ratings?? The whole purpose of TV shows like "Falcon crest", "Dallas", "The Brady Bunch" and "Beverly hills 90210" was to escape reality. But now its like every time you turn the channel there's a reality show on so many different networks which is why I'm giving up cable TV.
