Agreed. But one trick they can do, and I’ve seen it a couple of movies that does that, is to get the guy hurt somehow before they throw down. Maybe he brakes one hand, or hurts a leg and has a limp, or a bullet hole on the shoulder.

Michael Jai White got a lot of shit when he said that he could’ve beaten Bruce Lee. But when you look at the size of the two of them and talent being pretty much equal 235 pounds is going to kick the shit out of 135 pounds. One solid kick from Michael Jai white will break bones. It’s just physics.

I read somewhere that Vince Vaughn can kick some serious ass,who would have thought from this guy he is so funny. Anyway he was doing a movie back east a few years ago and him and some of his fellow actors went to the local dive bar fro some drinks. Well a local got in Vince's face and broke a bottle over Vince's face cutting him severely across his face and nose requiring many stitches. Vince proceeded to kick the FUCK out of the guy and almost beat the man to death. Vince got arrested but was eventually released.

Of all the old school actors that were leading men and tough guys on the screen My pick is Lee Marvin. Marvin was a decorated marine sniper in WW2 who was twice wounded in combat earning 2 purple hearts among other citations. I have read reports that state Marvin had double digits in kills as a sniper. Yeah Clint Eastwood was in the army,BUT he was a swimming instructor. Wayne,Bronson etc were just good actors. Believe it or not Gene Hackman was another one that had dynamite in his fists and a short fuse(again former marine)and guess who one of his room mates was when he was just starting out in New York? Steve McQueen another former marine that had a short fuse and fists of steel.Now these guys I would truly be afraid of,god rest the souls or Marvin and McQueen two great and REAL tough guy actors(Hackman is still with us)!

I agree with bill about action movies being ridiculous with like beating up 20 guys at once, but people don't realize the amount of damage someone who is actually trained in real martial arts can do. Not fucking krotty wrist twisty shit, but Buakaw level Muay Thai or Jordan Burroughs level wrestling or Buchecha level jiujitsu. People walk around thinking their size will help them not realizing what someone who has trained to knee and elbow people in the head and slam people on the ground and strangle them can do to them.

I hate when Nia weighs in on feminism. She's so bias it's crazy
@notgonnagiveit56687 жыл бұрын
Opinion can be if not described in an objective way. She didn't objectively think about atomic blondes plausibility. She just berated Bill about male action heroes and how rediculous they were despite that literally being the first thing bill said before talking about atomic blonde. Bill was very objective and unbias mainly because he considered both side and gave example before concluding they were both ridiculous. Nia didn't even bother to ponder each side before attacking bill.
@notgonnagiveit56687 жыл бұрын
Geez Nia. God forbid anyone acknowledges that women can't do certain things. You weren't too shy about pointing out things men can't do. Is it possible you are both correct?

yea Honestly i could see ronda rousey kicking alot of ass. Or wonderwoman having god like powers helping with her strength. Even Charlize theron as Furiosa in mad max looked bad ass and crazy. But i dunno about this movie specifically. Also wow NIA burst on the scene strong. "ya old caveman"
@FredCracklin7 жыл бұрын
Rousey was just beat up by nother woman that (surprise) looks like a man, but is much smaller than one. A good judo throw on someone's head can be nice for some one on one encounters, but Bill was mainly talking about the action movie women taking on men that were also trained to fight and had a lot of size on the women. As for superheroes and supwrpowers, yeah anythong goes there as long as there's some sort of hierarchal consistency. I can usually suspend disbelief if the movie is good enough, but they are taking things a bit past the Michelle Yeos and Cynthia Rothrocks of yesteryear by casting diminutive waifs and Scarlett Johanssen types as the ass kickers. Rousey pretty much lost that mojo after being brutally ko'd two fights in a row, and humiliated on the feet (how many movie fights use actual grappling exchanges?), but other real fighters could pull off a level of believability. I think the UFC/ MMA de-mystified a lot of these movie fight exchanges though, so size differences are a much bigger thing now.

I agree about the women in action movies killing the movie. It's completely impossible to suspend disbelief when I see a 120 lbs woman beat the shit out of multiple men that are much larger than her. I am out of shape, in my late 30's and have minimal fight training. However, I am 6'5" 260 lbs. I know if the ufc womens champion attacked me I would convincingly win. I might get a black eye or some bruises but she's not winning. Sorry feminists, get real.

How about the fact that Bill actually admits he's a moron and he's just fooling around? He isn't serious about half his shit and you can tell that. Secondly, how is shit he talks about controversial or insulting?
