Yeah, I wouldn't be surprised if most comedians had some thinking patterns similar to those with ADD. The brain's just going everywhere really quickly and they can think of connections that most people don't, but they don't wanna go home and read a book about it

I was tested as a kid and was told I had ADD which is ADHD today. My parents refused the listen to the school who thought I needed to be on legal speed. I struggled through school, did horrible in high school but I got a scholarship to play D1 Football. I graduated college with a 3.6 because I tried finally and wanted to grad school eventually. I'm almost 34, married with 3 kids, and as an adult I was prescribed adderal. I know it's legal speed but it helps me a lot and I've focused a ton in my competitive profession.
@waynejohnson17866 жыл бұрын
dandjedi It only has an effect similar to speed if you abuse it for recreational purposes. Drug addicts shoot up cocktails of HIV medication and anti-depressants to get an high similar to opiates, that doesn't mean its legal heroin for HIV patients and the depressed. You can't compare a drug addict abusing adderal to someone with ADHD using it to treat their illness, it may be an alternative to speed for me but its a medication for you because it actually helps you. The fact you have ADHD means you wouldn't even get the same recreational benefit from adderal
@walter34335 жыл бұрын
What?
@Icecreamandradness3 жыл бұрын
Please don't feel that you need to explain yourself when it comes to your treatment plan! Prescribed medication is more regulated than street drugs, and when taken as instructed it can change a person's life for the better :) I hope that one day, we treat those who take medication for mental conditions the way we treat those who take insulin or wear glasses - by understanding that they are being aided by their prescriptions, not weakened by them.
