It was an honor to arrange, play and record the horns for this epic classic.

Great work, man! Love your charts and this whole album!! The horn break toward the end of this is worthy of early Blood Sweat and Tears. Killer!!!

They dont make tunes like this anymore. Shame today's so called performers are light years from this quality. Just glad was part of this generation of everlasting talent. You are the man Bill....

Epic arrangements - vocals, rhythm, horns (jeezus), EWF-ish guitars - stellar in every way.
@Skwaidu13 жыл бұрын
The album was arranged, mixed, mastered and produced in Scandinavia at least, in Finland to be more precise. Mr. Malm who produced and arranged it lives there, as well as mixer Mikko Raita and mastering engineer Svante Forsbäck. :)

And I did MISS Bill with Chicago, in Paris, July 4, 2011! So happy - at least - saw him three times with Chicago in Europe! Hoping he, his wife Tamara and hisoh so talented son Will will come to Holland, one day!

This track and album is indeed produced by mr. Tomi Malm. I had the great honour of mixing the whole thing in my room at Studio Kekkonen, Helsinki.

OK, Bill, you, Peter, Jason, and Danny need to go on tour with David! You can call yourselves, "The Foster Kids!!"

The song was written by: Foster, David; White, Maurice; Willis, Allee
@Skwaidu13 жыл бұрын
Just to clarify, this album is actually a tribute to mr. Foster, produced by mr. Tomi Malm. And yes, it's very nice.

Bill singing together with Danish and Swedish musicians. I am Norwegain myself. I thought the Earth, Wind & Fire original version was unbeatable, but it seems as the Scandinavians , together with Bill, has done the impossible!!! Øyvind Sunde, Gjøvik, Norway. (Hii to Bill,...pleas have another concert in Gjøvik!!!)

It's so sad to hear a brilliant performance and presumably a good mix totally ruined by awful mastering... there're still some other means of listening to the music than iPhones (((

Horn section is killin. Whoever you are, y'all are amazing. Interesting chord substitutions on outro before the modulation., Instead of Bmaj(Add9) Ebmin7, F#min9, % they did B, Bmaj7,B7, Emin7/B. Nice. Unique take. I will vote on the first one (We ALL know that that is a CLASSIC) but still, good job.
