Stop calling them Palestinians, they are Arabs. There has never been a state called Palestine , no king, no coins, no history. They claim they are the Canaanite original owners of the land, but they don’t even know that Canaan was not a state, there were a lot of tribes living including the tribe of Canaan.

DNA studies show no connection between today's Arabs and ancient Canaan. Prior to 1948, the term Palestinian was applied to Jews who lived in the land. Any organization with the words Palestine or Palestinian was Jewish. There was the Palestine Post, which is now the Jerusalem Post. The Anglo-Palestinian Bank is now Bank Leumi. The members of the Palestine Symphony Orchestra were all Jews, as were the members of the Palestine National Football (Soccer) Team. In 1948, the Jews dropped the colonial terms Palestine and Palestinian. Yes, they are colonial terms. Palestine was a Roman/Byzantine/Mamluk/Ottoman/British colony.

@@nettashmerling8181 Except the land was called Paleset by Egypt about 100 yrs before the original Israel was a thing. Also no, the Palestinians are actually more directly related to the Israelites, Canaanites, and Levinates of the area you call Israel today than ANY Jew outside of a very few Mizrahi who share basically the same ethnic background as them. So no the land is the Palestinians, the issue seems more to be that the Palestinians changed religion during the 700 and 800 AD about the time the region became more and more Muslim. ETHNICALLY speaking and GENETICALLY Palestinians are the inheritors of the land by their more direct blood relation to the Israelites over the tribes that FLED the region and bred into other populations which does genetically and ethnically speaking dilute their connection to the original peoples of the region. Also lets be entirely clear, if you traveled back in time to the era of the Kingdom of Israel, you would see a lot of people you would call "Arabs" who are not arabs. Arab is just a generalization term that people use for people from the middle east. Especially since there are black arabs, white arabs, etc.

I could not watch further, since it made me laugh so hard, and at the same time it boiled my blood because of the indoctrination of the Palestinian kids. Maybe peace will come through the change of their curriculum. PS do not forget to credit the Soviets for the creation of a "Palestinian cause". The reality is that the Palestinians are part and an extension of the Arab world. Neither of them see them as individual entities, and whatever purported aspirations they have for independence are really the objective to dismantle the Jewish state. This is something that they both know and which they try to disguise to the outside world, who unfamiliar with this view naively accept their dreams of sovereignty. One reason Arab students and academics are so aggressively resentful of Israel supporters is that the latter _know_ what the former is trying to hide. I experienced this myself as a college student on campus some 20 years ago.

Britain in Palestine 1917-1948 investigates the contradictory promises and actions which defined British Mandatory rule in Palestine and laid the groundwork for the Nakba (the catastrophe) and the creation of the state of Israel in 1948. The roots of the contemporary social, political, economic, and environmental landscape of Palestine and Israel can be traced back to this period, making it essential viewing for understanding Britain’s legacy in the region and the situation on the ground today.

Quote from Zuheir Mohsen a senior member of the Palestine Liberation Organization, "There's no such thing as a separate Palestinian people, there's no difference between Jordanians Palestinians Syrians... the Palestinian identity exists only for tactical reasons. The creation of a Palestinian state is a new instrument in our ongoing war against the state of Israel and for the purpose of our Arab unity. "Mohsen himself stated that there were "no differences between Jordanians, Palestinians, Syrians, and Lebanese", though Palestinian identity would be emphasised for political reasons. In a March 1977 interview with the Dutch newspaper Trouw he stated that "between Jordanians, Palestinians, Syrians and Lebanese there are no differences. We are all part of one people, the Arab nation [...] Just for political reasons we carefully underwrite our Palestinian identity. Because it is of national interest for the Arabs to advocate the existence of Palestinians to balance Zionism. Yes, the existence of a separate Palestinian identity exists only for tactical reasons", representing the Ba'athist perceptive regarding the question of Palestine"

The British Mandate for Palestine was not as originally shown in the map at 8:48! In 1918, at the end of WW1 the British Mandate contained all of what is present day Jordan. The Emirate of Transjordan was established on April 11, 1921 as a British protectorate. It was created after the Ottoman defeat in World War I and was administered under the Mandate for Palestine. The region was ruled by the Hashemite dynasty, which also ruled the neighbouring Mandatory Iraq and the Kingdom of Hejaz to the south. The Emirate of Transjordan remained a British protectorate until it achieved formal independence on May 25, 1946 and was renamed the “Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.” All Population figures from that time included all the people that were on the East Bank of the Jordan River in the land that would be given to the Hashemite family for the Kingdom of Transjordan. All Jews that lived in that territory were transferred to the other side of the River Jordan, with all land to the East of that river being Jew free. So in comparing population figures of Arabs and Jews from that period have to take that into consideration. Also, 10 years prior in 1910 Pogroms were still being initiated against Jews living in the land by the Ottoman Empire. 6,000 Jews were expelled to Cairo in Egypt in 1910. I found that in 1917, the Ottoman authorities in Palestine ordered the deportation of 8,000 Jewish inhabitants from Jaffa and Tel Aviv. The deportation was carried out on April 6, 1917, and was accompanied by severe violence, starvation, theft, persecution, and abuse. The evicted civilians were not allowed to carry off their belongings, and it is thought that about 1,500 of the evicted people died as a result of the deportation. Since Jews first started returning to the land during what is called the First Aliyah, even greater amounts of Arabs were allowed to settle in the land by firstly the Ottomans and then the British, who actively encouraged the settling of Arabs that came from Egypt, Syria, Lebanon and further afield, to make sure that there would not be a Jewish majority. The Palestine White Paper was a policy statement issued by the British government in 1922. It was drafted at the request of Winston Churchill, then Secretary of State for the Colonies, partly in response to the 1921 Jaffa Riots. The official name of the document was “Palestine: Correspondence with the Palestine Arab Delegation and the Zionist Organisation” 2. The paper emphasized that the establishment of a national home would not impose a Jewish nationality on the Arab inhabitants of Palestine. It also called for a limitation of Jewish immigration to the economic capacity of the country to absorb new arrivals. The Palestine White Paper was one of several policy statements issued by the British government regarding Mandatory Palestine between 1922 and 1946. Were

The point Seth was making was the younger generation is rooting for Hamas because they see them as an underdog because of their relationship to size to Israel when the reality is Israel is the underdog in relation to the world. He’s humble to say he thought the same way when he was younger (he’s even made episodes on American aid to Israel). Clearly he’s more in support of Israel now that he’s matured.

One only has to ask the question why wasn’t there an uprising when Gaza was a part of Egypt? Maybe that’s the answer given Gaza back to Egypt and it’s their problem?

@@kittykatz3518 Adam Schitt is a self hating jew, as evidenced by his interfaith marriage, which endures whatever Jewish identity he had ended with him. He's not proud of whatever Jewish identity he has unless it furthers his self interest. He also lies through his teeth. Get educated.

@@kittykatz3518 I hope this educates you a bit. lies through his teeth amd has no Jewish identity as evidenced by his interfaith marriage. @@kittykatz3518 Shame on you for thinking Adam is s proud jew. He isn't, as evidenced by the very fact that he has an interfaith marriage, thereby ending his Jewish identity with him. His children aren't Jewish and thus, he couldn't care less about being a jew. Further, the guy lies through his teeth. He's a sociopath and I'm ashamed he's associated with judaism as he gives the rest of us a bad name. He's done more to harm jews then help them. Vomiting seeing your ignorance.

We have to recognise and appreciate the game that is being played here, that, Israel cannot even live up to the highest standards of Democracy and Freedom but let's look upto Qatar, where women are allowed to drive and wear Burkha' out of Choice.

I think it is really important to mention that there are 2 million arab muslim people living in Israel as full citizen. They are completely free and prosper in freedome. The „Palestinians“ could do the same, but they instead time and time again opt for anti-semitism, violence and genocide.

Seth isn’t Jewish. He’s from Utah and came from a Mormon family which is surprising because the Mormons usually support Israel ardently though I’m not surprised that he’s not clear about the history considering that they believe that the Holy Land is the United States and that the Messiah came from upstate New York.
