It would be great if you get more of his songs - he doesn't disappoint, it's just getting better - Trilogy of Jenny/Screech and Violet (full version to make sure it's in the right order) is a must - something entirely new from Ren, storytelling at his best! I just found your channel today and been watching it all day and still going. I'm 76 years old and have loved Rap .......... emenem, 50cent, tupac to name a few for over 20years. My kids were upset with me when I introduced them to it. (I did wait til they were teenagers though.) I have watched HiRen so many times and each time I hear a little more and focus on where ever I'm at, at the time. I battle depression a little bit and I listen to him. “Hi Ren" is the song that put Ren on everyone's radar since December; it went viral and has garnered more than 6 million views since its debut, but he has been creating great music for more than ten years. Ren’s music videos are generally recorded live, often in a single take, although not necessarily the first take, and from various camera angles. His release, "Sick Boi," is almost another chapter to "Hi Ren." Many of Ren’s songs resonate with people because he addresses struggles that many others face every day. Ren plays multiple instruments (acoustic, electric, and bass guitar, piano, drums), has impressive vocals, is an excellent storyteller, and is quite the philosopher and poet. He is considered by many a modern bard; he calls his music “bardcore.” Ren’s earliest recordings on KZbin are from his time in a band called “Trick The Fox,” consisting of Ren and his buddies Charlie and Tommy. I hear the song as a number of transitions between characters: - Ren (beginning of the song) - "Evil" Ren (lights flickering) - "Good" Ren (no lights flickering) - The Demon/Evil (or Doubt) - The Dark - The Angel/Good (or Hope) - The Light - The combined/actual Ren - both the light and the dark... both an Angel and a Demon... and both Good and Evil (lights are flickering again) - Ren - "The Human Being" (Speech at the end) That is how I mapped it out in my head. I have to say, that bit at the end of this video about wanting to get involved or being inspired, I have experienced that completely listening to Ren. I have listened to quite a bit of his music now and admittedly I'm a little addicted to Hi Ren reactions, but I have started writing lyrics and songs and poetry for the first time in years after finding his music. The song structure itself is incredible. It starts off as a battle between his positive (Angel) and negative (Demon) aspects, the negative makes an overpowering last ditch effort to reign supreme, but ultimately fails as the final act, being the "God" aspect, emerges Triumphant, illustrated in his singing at the end. "...from the top of my lungs". It's a powerful great piece of performance art that gives "broken" people HOPE. It's a beautiful masterpiece. Ren is special.

There is a worldwide busking festival that used to go around the planet every year...here in Halifax, Nova Scotia, every August. So much fun, not sure why ti was stopped. Artists from all around the planet would perform, jugglers, musicians, magicians, etc...
